Joaquin Phoenix Quits Acting!

He must be genuinely going after his dream. He finally found his true passion in singing after all those years of acting. I guess the influence of Johnny Cash's life into a movie inspired him.

Yes, according to his camp he'll be resting for acting for a while but it doesn't mean he'll quit. He'll be concentrating in his music. But just last week saw him in some red carpet event, and he was so different. He was unorganized and untidy. People thought there must be something psychological bad change that's happening in him but his representatives are denying this speculation. ^^,

Yea I was reading about that yesterday actually...I guess whatever he feels is best for him ya know...I mean power to the guy for backin out of Hellywood IMO and goin after what he desires...Though admittedly I wont miss him at all LOL in fact I can't think of even one movie he's done that I've seen..

I cannot really remember him befor the movie Gladiator. His role as the loathsome Commodus. Any shows he did before that? Never watched him before. It is only after Gladiator that I see him more often in the movies. I have yet to watch Walk the Line. Is he any good singing?

I liked the way he acts. It is a real pity that he has quit now. Maybe he will return after some period of time. Hope for the best..

I don't think I'll miss him that much either to tell you the truth. Music is a good way to vent and if he's got "demons" as the article says, he might do well. It will be interesting to see.
