Hello everyone, I am a newcomer here. Though I enjoy this magnificent forum. I have made a lot friends who share the same interets with me. Also I could practice my English constantly. Yet There is one thing I don't understand. I found some friends got a star contains a certain number(like 7,9, even 14) in it. What does that mean? It seems good, how I can get a star like that?

hi.. you will get star rating when you cross 100 to 105 posts.
it denotes your reputation here in mylot.
it does not depends on your earnings. now you are 15. hope you reach soon.
after doing 200 posts, you can insert smileys.
after doing 500, you can copy and paste inside the discussions!
Happy lotting to you!

If you reach 100 posts they will give you the star mark. In that star mark the number contains your reputation. If you have 7 in that star you have between the 65 to 75 out of 100. If you start more discussions and get more responses from that your score means reputation automatically increased. Its boost your earnings. Happy to share your views. Happy myLotting.

If you read the TOS you will see that members get a star and rating once they have made 100 posts, which can be either discussions started or those that you have responded to. The number inside the star depends on how other members rate you, i.e. whether they give you a positive (+) or negative (-) rating or perhaps a best response.
Also in the TOS you will see that you can cut and paste discussions and/or responses once you have 500 posts. The reason that members are not able to cut and paste before that number of posts has been achieved is to protect the integrity of myLot. It means that new members who have just joined cannot flood the site with discussions and not make any responses. It is for the benefit of the members and although a bit of a nuisance at times, once we reach the magical number we do appreciate that there are some extra things we can do.

Thanks for giving me best response to this discussion. I hope that my response gave the information that you needed/wanted.
As you made a friend request and I accepted it, I shall look forward to seeing your post numbers increasing over the coming weeks and months. Good luck to you and have fun while mylotting.
