We lost a project due to fault of other Team.. :(

it is very sad. the project we are working on, will be no more with us :( My manager let me know this. Actually the client do not want to renew the contact as some other team under same portfolio fared miserable. we have also lost our project due to them . Again have to search new project which is difficult.

But this is very common in the software field,isnt it Suba...And this is a time of recession for the industry..I believe by march most companies start getting new projects.....Any way good luck to you...

Ya Subha , I agree with You Project Success is Team Success . Project Failure is again a Team share this Failure . This is due to Mis communication amoung team members . Hope you will get new project as soon as possible.

It happens and sometimes we had big blasts at the fault cost of others and even i have missed many opportunities because of the lazy works from my colleagues and its a cycle and learning as well to get a situation like this in initial stages as well

I am sorry subha. But that's the drawback and also the plus point of being in a team. its important that we learn to accept the failure even when we are not at fault just as we cherish the kudos for some others credibility. That's but a TEAM thing! In yours case, I am sure other avenue will open up soon. Don't you worry. True sense of success comes only after at the defeat we face. good luck!

In marketing & HR, this is called HALO EFFECT..This is what happened here too..Forming a positive or negative opinion based on some thing else of the same nature..If you do not stand a chance of getting a thing by worrying, then why worry about it..Try to search for a new project with a positive frame of mind..Cheers
