Would 9/11 happened? Would we invade Iraq? Would bin Laden still be at large? What about the debt, Katrina response, and the energy crisis? Where would be right now?

I say no different then where we are now. The Osama and his gang had planned 9/11 well before Bush took office.
These people hate the USA they could care less who the President is.
Gore would have had to go to war against Osama and his clan just like Bush did.
Hate Bush all you want, but he did what we had to do. The USA is not some low rate country that will take a beating and do nothing, we had to react and I am glad we did.

9-11 would most definitely had happened sine all the planning was done during the Clinton presidency. Clinton was too busy in the Oval Office with Monica instead of hunting down terrorists. Since Al Gore said HE invented the internet, I believe we are much better off with George W. Bush

No one knows where we would be if Gore had won the 2000 elections. But one thing's for sure: it would be a better world now.

I don't think Gore would have done a better job. Sorry all you Gore lovers. I'm not a bush lover either...but I think both are pretty dim!

Let's see...if Gore had won (and I'm a Tennessean no less)...9/11 would have happened --probably to a much worse scake. Would we have invaded Iraq...probably no...but we would still be trying to "reason" with Saddam. Get real, Saddam wasn't going to reason, he was going to bully.
The national debt would be even more out of control than it is now and the Katrina response wouldn't have been any different. Energy crisis --I am sure we would here lectures about it, but things would not be much different.
Where would we be? To start, I think we would be taxed even more than we are now. Special Interest groups would be catered to.

At the stage the US government was in, I do not think it would have made any difference at all. If Gore had failed to comply with whatsoever the US government wanted him to do, then they would simply have looked for reasons to impeach him, or assasinate him - just like they did to J. Kennedy. There actually is no difference between republicans and democrats when it comes to strategy used by the US government to generate revenue. It will have to take a very strong-willed and good-natured person for US president to understand that there are other means to generate revenue besides piracy!

Only God knows. An I believe God know better why he allowed bush to win the presidency. Things could have been worst. What if Bin ladin takes up on the weaknes of the democrats and start to strike like devil on mission? Leadership a toimes depends on the situation at hand. If algore were to be presidet, Could he have stoped Katrina, Jaen, andrew and all sort of terrible huricanes? We only need to leave it all to God to sort things out and give back the peace that has eluded the world all over.

I don't think we would be in the mess we are in today and it just to be getting worse.

I don't think we would be at war with Iraq. Bush just wants to get back at Iraq for what they did to his father when his father was in office.

Yes 9/11 would have happened. No we wouldn't have invaded Iraq or Afghanistan for that matter. Yes, he would be at large in fact we probably would have been apologizing for 9/11. We the debt wouldn't be as high because of no war but we would still be in a recession that Clinton started probably. Katrinia response probably wouldn't have been any different because that f*ck up is all on the leaders of that state. The energy crisis wouldn't be any different.

We would be in a much better situtation. I don't think we would have invaded Iraq - unless it was absoultly nessasary. And bin Laden who knows...he's a sneaky little sh*t with too many friends. The debt would be better simply because we wouldn't be in Iraq. Katrina response probably. But really those people who stayed behind should have found a way to leave - they have feet they could have walked. Energy crisis would be a lot better I would hope. But you've got to remember that the Pres can only do so much without the support of the congress. And I don't think the congress is ready to do anything about the energy crisis. I loved 'An Inconvient Truth'.

9/11 would have still happened, becoz, it was not against Bush, but against the policies of America, that these terrorists responded. But enviornemntwise, US would have helped the world the global warming if Gore was there. Iraq war wouldn't have been there. But for sure Afgan war.
