do you like mascots?

i love mascots especially those that look really cute. i think alot of kids like it especially those that they often see only in televisions. but some are afraid of them. i still remember one of my nieces. during the birthday celebration of her cousin, she was madly afraid when the mascot appeared for the party. she was really trembling and her eyes were teary. even her younger brother was so scared of the mascot. i really wondered why other children are like that.

My family usually hire mascots for children's birthdays. Children love it except for some children maybe, because they haven't seen or played with a doll either. Guess what, the first mascot we hired was not even that of Jollibee's. That was way back in the late 1970's during the 1st birthday of my first niece.
As for adults perhaps, we still enjoy watching and interacting with mascots because there is still this "child" in us and we keep looking forward to another children's party to see them.

Your right, I see them but in a distance. Of course, I won't barge into someone else's children's birthday party. I would enjoy better if I can get close. And for Christmas, is the Santa Claus we see in the malls, a mascot? I think, I'll give this idea to my brothers and sisters.
