It JUST keeps FREEZING!

Okay so im going to write this quick, before i freeze again.
i cant figure out what it is. After many attempts though i managed to run a full virus scan. Finding nothing wrong. I even ran a spyware scan, and im about to run yet another different virus scan.
It completely locks up, and freezes. And i just dont understand why? I mean, it makes no sense. Just a random freeze. Anyone had problems like this, and possibly figured it out?

How long have you had this computer? You may need to run a registry cleaner or repair on it. The other option is to format and reinstall windows. After a few years I have always had to do this. Windows just starts acting funny and nothing fixes it. That's why I run Ubuntu Linux and my wife uses a Mac.

Did you have a virus on the computer? You might want to try starting in safe mode and running the virus scanner that way. If thats not possible, I'd boot in safe mode and run a reg cleaner, CCCleaner is great for that. You may have had a virus that your scanner caught and deleted, but it can still leave empty files behind in your registry that can slow up the processes. Also do crtl + alt = delete and see if you have any extra processes running that could be interfering with your scan.
