Well friends this the last day of October and tomorrow we will be into November. What has your weather been like in September and October. We actually had a good Indian summer. September was an excellent month and even October has been good. I know that it has to get cold soon and we'll probably get some snow in November. I just appreciate every day that it's sunny now and I'm hoping we don't have storms as bad as last winter. I enjoyed winter when I was a kid but not so much anymore, although I can handle everything except the storms. How has fall been where you life and are you looking forward to winter or do you even have winter where you live?

I live in the tropics, and don't get to experience the four seasons like in temperate countries. But coming into this last quarter of the year, and even early into the next year, the weather's kinder for us. It is cooler than some of the earlier months with a little more rain and wind. The winds can sometimes be pretty strong. The temperature range has certainly gone done one or two degrees. I find that I don't have to turn on the air-conditioner or even the fan sometimes because I am not feeling hot around the house. I really like it this time of the year.

It will take some getting used to if one lives in temperate or cold countries. You'll be surprised...a lot of people from Europe and the States come over to Asia during their colder months to experience the warm weather in this part of the world because they don't get much of that back home.

Hi Pose dear....ayes tomorrow is the start of a new month...And it also marks the day our state,Kerala was formed.Well there is not much celebration here, except that people go to offices and schools weraing traditional dress. And yes we have no winter here, because our state is situated very near the equator. We have a steady temperature of 28 to 33 degree celcius through out the year.Only during the rainy seasons in June and in november,we have a little cold climate, otherwise we have warm days and nights through out.....

Hi Rose, Thank you for your response. The temperature in your state sounds warm to me, even in the summer we rarely go over 30 degrees. I prefer about 25 degrees, but I can manage 30. As I said in my post the only thing I don't care for here is the winter storms, but I guess everywhere has it's advantages and disadvantages. Blessings.

Hot hot hot!! Though I just bathed, it's still Hot!. Traditionally, it should be slightly cooler and wetter at the end of the year in Singapore. It has been raining but during those times without rain, it's super hot and humid. I can't stand the humidity. No winter where I am.

The weather turns a little cold in town. However, some people gotta prepare warm clothers. People don't wanna get up until the day break and they tend to feel listless and lack of motivation. The winter will come! Some animals cease being active as well.

It was very warm and sometimes cool in the mornings. For September that is. For October the mornings was very cold and the day time was too.. I believe that we are hitting the winter very quick like. I love this kind of weather. I love to be snuggled up when it is very cold. This weather is tricky weather. I call it, the sick weather..

It has been very nice this past month. I don't think I had to run the air conditioner or the heater. Since it has gotten cooler, I've been to take my dog for more walks. That of course makes him very happy. It makes me sleep better also, because if he is tired at night he won't bark nearly as much!

Where I live in Saskatchewan Canada we have also had good Indian Summer, however my granddaughter just had her fifth birthday so we went into town and helped celebrate that. We were to be at the bowling alley by 2 and just after lunch it started to snow. When we got done at the bowling alley we went to my daughters for pizza then off to the rink to watch my grandson play hockey. By time we got out of there which was about seven thirty we knew it was time to head home. It was snowing and blowing and slippery. We stopped long enough to pick up two Tim Horton coffees for the ride home and we were in a real blizzard. By time we got on the highway the wind was still strong but the road was bare and it had stopped snowing. So it didn't amount to anything but it was our warning of what's to come next. I dread winter because I don't get around very well and winters are very long here.

Hi Grandmaof2, Thank you for your response. I agree that was a warning of what's to come and I really don't look forward to it either. We haven't had any snow yet but there have been warnings in the area. Blessings.

I am in California. Although our winters are not as bad as most, I am nineteen blocks from the Pacific Ocean and it gets pretty cold down here. I do not like anything about winter anymore. Like you, when I was a kid, I had fun playing in the rain and such. But now that I am older, my Asthma acts up in the winter and I get very depressed. I wish I could hibernate in the winter the way that the bears do, LOL.

Hi Rozie, Thanks for your comments. Sorry for taking so long to respond, I guess I just missed you somehow. Sorry about your Asthma, I guess you need a drier climate. I have a niece who has suffered with Asthma all her life and has been forded to move to a more suitable climate. Blessings.

To be honest with you, I don't like winter ,so I'm hoping that it won't be so bad. Is nice to see the snow for a few days ,but a winter storm is very depressing ,and I hope that we end up with a mild winter again this year.

Oh,it is already Novenber now and the weather here is more and more cold. There are many days I haven't seen the sun.It rained all these days.Winter is coming.I love winter and snow though it is so cold.Do you know why?Because in my memories, only in winter all my family members can be together. My parents don't have to work out.We watch TV together, eating snacks or playing some game...I really love it. This is the scenes of my childhood. Now,my brother,my sister and I all grow up.We all have our own life. Those wonderful winter will no longer appear. But those happy memories have been deeply engraved in my mind. However, winter is my favorite season.
