But how come mylot did not count all my activities such as responding to any comment I received. If i am to count my activities, according to my profile I already have at least 14oo activities including Adding of new friends and personal messages. And if I have to count my posts and my response to every comments received, at least I have counted around 400 posts. but see the number beside my name, it is only 227. And a while ago, started at 220 and then after doing at least around 15 posts i still have 227 in my profile.. And I notice that not all of my posts are counted. Why is that so?Please help me with this.It confused me.thanks.

The number besides your name are the posts that you either write or respond to. When responding back to persons who come to your discussions you will not receive a number. If you go to a discussion of another more than one time you will only be given one points. If you contribute to discussions that were deleted then your points will also. As far as the points are I never have a problem with it.

The number beside your name only states how many new discussions you have replied to or started. Your discussions count if you have at least one reply. You still get paid for all quality posts even if they do not change this number as in replying to people who respond to your posts.
If you read the TOS it is quite clear that they count all quality posts. But if all you say is thanks then it is not counted. That number is just one indicator.

The number beside the name represents your participation level in MyLot, but i wonder if addign a freind too gets you points.i have not really checked. I thought it was only for startign a discussion or giving comments to a discussion that you get points. Anyway what ever it represents,it is a way toknw who is a new memvber and hwo has been here for a while

actually, by the way that i understand it, it is the number of different discussions we participated in. so if you started a discussion and put a comment on your respondents, your number won't increase. try to observe it and you'll see what i mean.
also, in order for our started discussions be counted, somebody has to respond to it first.
hope this helps.

Our points only grow when we respond to a new discussion from our friends that we have not already responded to. We go not get points for making our own posts but we do get earnings for it.

Well... these are the activities that would increase our number of posts...
1. Starting discussions... but this should get at least one response to get counted...
2. Responding to discussions... blogs...
3. Commenting to news articles...
Commenting to responses does not add to our number of post... even uploading photos...
We might ask why... but that is just the way it is here in mylot...
