i have read countless discussion on mylot in regards to what is your favourite book or what book are you currently reading but this morning while i was waiting at the drs office, i was flipping through an 'O' magazine and was really enjoying reading it and it made me think of a great discussion starter.
while i dont subscribe to any magazine, i generally hit my local library to look at a plethora of scrapbooking and country decorating magazines...what about you?

I like the articles in Vanity Fair and I read it most months although I don't have a subscription. I do have a subscription to Country Living which I absolutely love. I also like other decorating magazines like Southern Accent but I only buy one occasionally. I never really liked magaznes like Time or Newsweek. To me those kinds of magazines seem especially unnecessary now when everything newsworthy can be gotten immediately on line.

I used to read lots of Idol magazines when I was a teenager.. those with lots of Backstreet Boys, No doubt.. news..
I also used to read lots of Football magazines because I want to know more about my favorite football club, Manchester United FC.
Also, those Japanese fashion and comic (manga) magazines are a must buy.
I also read Times magazine for my dosage of world news and views.
Now, with Internet, I hardly buy. I usually read what I need to know online. However, once in a while, I still buy Japanese manga magazines or Times.

I like Oprah magazine, Creative Knitting, other knitting magazines, People, and InStyle. About the only one I look at regularly is Creative Knitting since I subscribe to it. I always buy a People if I'm going to be flying somewhere. I browse the other knitting magazines when I go to the bookstore, the same with InStyle. And I had a free subscription to Oprah but it just ran out.

I love to read! I read our daily newspaper. I also have subscriptions to several magazines including Newsweek, Prevention, Woman's Day, Better Homes & Gardens & Coastal Living. An eclectic grouping to say the least. I also read books when I can, not to mention browsing the internet (mostly news-related subject matter). I guess you could say I just can't get enough!
