I've had bad experiences to me directly and to those close to me, which certainly has changed me and affected the way I view things and people.
But I wouldn't change it dispite what has happened, made me think like I do and appreciate what I do.
Haveing regrets and wondering and thinking "I wish I did/didn't do this" will get nobody no where apart from unhappy.
I stand by believeing of having no regrets, because I don't want to die and say i wish i did this or that, and it be too late.
If I find myself thinking that I am not doing what is making me happy or going anywhere then I try to change that so I am happy in the knowledge that I doing what I want and am happy with the desicions I make :)

THAT really had to have sukked for you!! I'm so sorry! I think the thing I regret most in life is that I divorced my first husband and father of my 3 kids. I seriously think that it had more of an effect on them than I ever dreamed it would. Their all adults now and were young at the time but after 31 years it still bothers me.

i've got a lot of regrets in my life, The listing is here, so that you might know and i would love shating it. first, during highschool, i wasn't able to join the juniors-seniors prom. and i'm fourth year that time (graduating) Secondly, when i arrived late in our school activity where i am assigned to lead the invocation. Thirdly, I wasn't able to attend my sister graduation. and the most of all, the biggest regret ever happen in my life was when i learned that all my photos were burned. NO memories during those important events.

I just had this discussion with my child that went away to college. I promised that if anything ever happened to me and she couldn't be there I would know how much she loved me and she said that she would know the same thing if anything ever happened to her and I could not be there. I agree that your Grandmother would love nothing better than you to let go of the guilt and live your life happily and without the remorse of missing one lastr visit.
