What is your favorite Linux LiveCD?

Or your favorite Linux distro? I like testing a Linux as a livecd so I can just boot and go with no install, kind of like having a screen shot before making a big download. Anyways, I use LinuxMint everyday for 99% of my computing with WinXp for the 1% of programs I can't run with Linux on my desktop. On my old laptop I run PuppyLinux, it's a very small and fast livecd that boots to memory & saves to a usb pen. It don't have all the eye candy & plugins Mint has (which is built on Ubuntu) but it gives new life to a slow laptop. It also makes for a great backup disk for any box with a crashed hard drive (or none) All in all I really think Ubuntu/Mint has come a long way and is as good and/or more stable than WinXP. I personally feel the freedom when I run it and will spend the extra time to learn to do something on Linux before I'll reboot to WinXP Anyone else? Thanks!

Yes, I to like Puppy. Because it was small and comfortable. I tried once when I got it free with one book. I use linux full version which is completely free. I never tried any other live cd except the ubuntu and puppy. Thank you.

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex. I think this is the most mature in the Ubuntu Series. I liked PClinixOS a lot because of the ease of use. I had tried other distros but always had some other other problem. I am having the least problem with Ubuntu 8.10 (none practically). However, I still feel Linux has to mature much more. More than Linux itself the community has to mature and be more welcome for new users. I have been using windows vista for the last one year (came bundled with my lappy). Believe me I have no issues whatsoever.

My distro of choice is Archlinux. But when it come to LiveCD I like Damn Small Linux (DSL). I can run it inside windows with virtualbox and run quite smooth because the system requirement is quite low. Very useful if you want to surf the net without worrying about viruses and spyware.

Knoppix is another great live cd. I kept a few version of it, in many cases, I can use one of them to boot with all hardware detected properly. I also use it for recovery purpose.
