If You Could Kill Someone By Writing Their Name Who Would It Be And Why?

I believe that no one has the right to kill someone else. How can i one person decide if he is guilty or not. Killing in general is wrong. And i think killing people is a crime, so Kira character should kill himself.

I would be very careful what I write and make sure what I write is not in that notebook. I'ts not my place to take another mortal's live regardless of whether they're criminal or not.

Greetings from Intel Globe! In my view, if we can't give life to some one then we don't have right to take away this in any situation, unless done in case of self defence. I totally agree with the statement, that killer is a killer, no matters, whether he is murdering with a knife or a pen. But fortune also plays an important role here, still as far as possible, we should avoid hurting others, that is what the way of getting happiness and peace in life. I suggest, you don't visit church or temple, but you help others and even you are not helping others, don't think bad about them, that's it...you will really find your God some day. Nope sorry haven't seen or even head of these shows or movies. Well, I would be more likely to do the child molesters, rapists and killers who are repeaters. I know it is not for me to judge them cause I don't know about them or where they been or coming from but it is sad that a child's life has to be interrupted and violated because a person cannot control themselves. That would mostly be all like your character Kira does. Fight for justice in a whole new way.

well, then, i would write names of those who are money minded and those who betray. those are two qualities i hate the most. i havent had a such a bad experience with anyone in my life so far. though there have been few, they have been minor and forgivable. but, surely, it would be the name of someone who falls into one of these two categories. sorry for giving a diplomatic answer. but thats the truth in my case unfortunately! :)

I will definitely write the name of a stupid jeepney driver that almost harm me, the baby inside my womb and my mother in law. Here's the story behind, when we bring her to a doctor to have a thourough check-up I got engage in vehicular accident, well almost which I should be thankful! When we are about to go down from a jeepney (public transportation here in our country) in front of the hospital it suddenly run! Imagine, my mother in law is already 75 years and not in good condition due to her illness and I'm 6 month pregnant, we almost fell from the jeepney to the road if we were not able to balance ourselves. All the medical staff who saw the incident was shocked! Good thing, one of them is so alert that she was able to get the plate number of that jeepney. In that instance I called my husband to report the incident to Land Transportion Office to blotter that stupid jeepney driver! I was in shock and afraid that something wrong might happen to my baby, that I cried when I heard the voice of my husband from the other line... so he calm me down and asked me to relax for our baby's sake. He assure me that he will do something about this incident.

Nobody. I wouldn't want to kill anyone, even if I despised them. I think to kill them would make no better then they. Though there are times when it would be tempting, I would not do it.

No, I would never want to kill someone. No matter how bad I disliked them. Things can usually be sorted out by talking to someone, we think we would want to kill. No I would not ever do that. If someone hurt my children really bad, it would cross my mind though. But I could not write a name to kill them.

Hmmm... Interesting but no way. What if someone also can write your name on that piece of paper? What would you feel? For all I know is there's only one God, that's another story. ;)

only some one who would try to break in to my house. other than that the names I would put on it would some times be taking care of by karma!

I really love that movie! I really got hooked in it!.. well, if given the chance, I actually wanted to write lots of names in that notebook. .. those parasites, and those who live just to damage one's life.. but of course, like what others said, we should never put justice in our hands.. and of course, killing people is a big sin, even if we don't kill them using our bare hands..

I couldn't fathom writing anybody's name there regardless of who they are or what they have done. I can't even allow myself to think of such a thing.

Yah, i'm familiar with DeathNote, i'd watch the whole series and it;s movie version, well, that question comes in my mind what if i had that power, who could i write down in the note hmmmm. well i guess i write the names of all the corrupt politicians and the badest criminal alive just like in the series. Kira uses the note to kill bad people but as story goes, he killed all the people that cross his way, even his own dad was killed because of him. :(

I'll not write any name becuase in the mortal law and in God's law we don't have the right to get someones life or kill..... remember the one law in the Ten Commandmets in the bible "Thou shall not kill"..... for me God is the only one that have the right to get someone's life..... its still a murder....
