Neowide changed to Adsense only pay!

I guess everyone that's writing for them received the email about the change from upfront payments to adsense only. They say they are going to give writers 80%, but if they don't know how to promote that's 80% of nothing. I, and all the other writers I know personally, are going to ask for our articles that we haven't been paid for to be removed from the site. I can put them somewhere else for more. Now I'm sorry I even talked about the site here on mylot. Not that I knew they'd change things, but still.

I've also asked for my articles to be removed, as they've removed all payment for them, even though they were accepted for a certain price well before they changed! Disgusting. On the bright side, helium are now paying users upfront!

I hope they will remove them for us. Yeah, it's good news with Helium. At least they are trying to make things better.

Ohh I didnt know Helium were paying upfront. I am a member there but havent written for ages. How much do they pay per article and do they pay international members, or is it just members from the US?

Not much...between 50c and $2.50 depending on your writing stars... You still get revenue share too.

As long as your articles are 400 words you can submit them to Associated Content. They will pay upfront if they like it, if not it's just page views. At least you have the chance to make upfront there. You can try getting on with Demand Studions. Just submit an application and see what they say. They do How-to articles. http://www.demandstudios.com http://www.associatedcontent.com

That's a real bummer about Neowide changing its payment method. Don't feel too bad about mentioning it on myLot. After all, websites are pretty much free to do as they want, and that includes changing how they pay people. Hope you get your articles removed from Neowide to do with as you wish. Good luck.

Yeah I know. I don't hold it against the person who told me about the site. I just hate that they changed it on people, especially the ones who had high amounts ready to be paid.

hey there! i too will be asking that my articles be removed. because like you said, you can publish them on other sites that do pay upfront. by the way, do you know any more sites that pay upfront for published articles? i was really mad when i read the email from neowide. i invested sleepless nights to be able to reach the minimum payout, now i cannot even receive any payout. a few days ago, my earnings were more than a hundred bucks. now, i don't have any. cursed!

WOW! You had more than a hundred and they took it back. That's awful. Associated content will pay upfront for some articles. You can submit them all for upfront and if they don't offer anything, or less than you want, you don't have to put the article with them.

oh!! I have no idea about that writing site. yes, there are some writing sites that keep on changing their rules when they can gather lots of members. I don't know what is going on in the heads? do they think they would be broke to pay lots of members and that is the reason they stopped paying but instead depending on your revenue? Well, that;s business so, we can not do anything about it unless we will make our own business like they do.

I don't know what they were thinking. I do know they didn't know what they were doing...lol. I guess they'll learn the hard way that they can't do this to writers.
