Whats the best motorcycle to start on?

ive been looking at the 250 CC kawasaki ninja's as a bike to ride when i move off my 50cc resriction. any other ideas of a bike i could ride?

depending on where you live and ride, i would probably want something bigger than a 250. The wind coming off cars and especially trucks could put you all over the road. You should probably look at someting 600 or bigger, and probably not a sportbike.

Also, the 600's get blown around too, if you want to avoid this you need to go 1100 or bigger.
