Is watching a dubbed movie worth it?

Some countries copy the story outline of movies from other countries and make it in their native language. Does anyone think it is good to watch the dubbed movie or the original movie, even though it's in foreign language that u might not recognize? There are many examples where the dubbed movie has done better than the original movie, but the effort was put in by the crew of the original movie makers. so the argument can go either way. what do you think?
