Reasons/Benefits of Add more Friends in myLot..??

Here in myLot what are all the benefits we get by adding more friends..
Because When i went through the lots of discussions here in myLot, the senior members of myLot advise the new members to add more friends, What is the reason behind it..
I am not really understand those concept, is this help us to improve our earnings really..
I understand that by adding more friends, the following are the reflections.:
(according to my point of view)
-- If we need some informations about the other countries, we can PM to the friend those who live in those countries, and asking for the informations.
-- If we have more friends we can select the discussions under "friends started" and respond the same, vise versa, they can also respond our discussions.
-- IF we add the senior members of mylot, we can learn more from their discussions and the responses, by went through those postings.
-- and also here in mylot most of the people working in other online websites also, So, they obviously used to send the links of those websites and ask you to join in those websites, if it is real one, the people will earn through that websites, if it is not a real one, if they are cheater, then the person who join will become wasted his/her timings.
Do you have anything more to add in this list, if it is benefits or distrubances.. you can share here, this may helpful for the peoples concerned..

I have not accepted all of the people who have sent a friend request, but I have accepted most. Before deciding, I usually look at the person's profile and see what their interests are, and if we share any common interests.
I am looking more for folks I may enjoy sharing conversations with, and reading what they have to say about things. I think I would accept people who post in many of the same discussions I do.

This is also a good stratagy, but here some of them used to tell that, do not accept the friends request those who are having "0" discussions etc..etc..
do you have any idea about this..

Well there are pros and cons of adding more friends on mylot. In a member who has been here for a while's point of view, if you add those who are new (with lesser posts then yourself) then you could end up with pm's or comments on your profile asking to join such and such, or even asking for money directly.
Now if you do not mind sifting through those pm's that may come in that is fine. Sometimes having so many friend's on the friend's started can be hard to sift through and if you are here to make money then I would advise adding people little by little so that you can look through and respond to discussions and get a feel for what people discuss on here.
