How do you feel when you get "zero" response to a discussion you start?

Hi, Actually it gives me motivation to write or start a better discussion. Its not worth getting dissapointed. If i go by experiance some of my very silly discussions has recieved a lot of response and a lot of my good ones are without a single response . So its not that my question was up to the mark, its about whether the reader felt like responding to my discussion or not. Cheers, Tutul

It feels bad but only a bit. After a day, I already forget about it. I think it is normal. And I realized that it did not happen only to me, it also happened to a lot here. Also, we may never know that the discussion we posted had already been discussed before. There are no responses because the people here already responded on the same discussion. Also some of those who are new here never had a track of history of all discussions. I guess we have to accept the fact that it will really happen but we must keep on posting!

I have never had this problem but if I ever did, I would feel terrible. I would feel like my friends just didn';t take the time to respond to me.

[b]hi nikkiwith! it felt disappointing when no one responds to your post. it makes me think that i don't make any sense with the discussions i put up with. sometimes i envy others who gets to have so many responses when you can see that most of the topics that are being posted are a bit shallow. sorry i hope i don't seem to be very offending. what i am trying to say is that whenever i post something with i think having sense that may be discussed with other mylotters i don't get many opinions as much as what i wanted to see. when i try making simple discussions i get only few. things like that. well, this still doesn't stop me from answering posts and starting up new discussions. well, that is life. happy posting and happy mylotting! happy halloween to you![/b]

Hi I just look at it as a part of the game. Also, i analyse why my topic failed to get a good response. I have often noticed that either I came up with a boring topic or too specialized topic. As a result I got 0 response. It certainly doesn't feel good. But I don't bother much about that. I keep on posting. Happy mylotting.

yeah i also feel also annoys me when somebody didn't response my discussion...i think i am not good enough in making such discussion...maybe...i don't know why...
