Have you fall in love with a person without knowing he/she is your cousin?

What will you do if you found out that the man or the woman you love is your cousin? Will you continue your relationship with him/her or will you stop it?
The church says having a cousin as a bf/gf or husband/wife is a mortal sin. But what if, you are already in the middle of relationship until you know that whom are you loving is a kin of yours.

that would be so devastating and painful, if you're in the middle of your relationship with someone, only to find out that you were cousins.
if i were the girl, even how much painful it is, i will try to avoid him and i have to tell myself that he's my cousin. it would be hurtful for a long time, but in due time, all the heartaches would heal, as long as we lean on God.
