"For reasons that I can't quite figure out, CNN has decided to devote an entire program this weekend to how conservatives -- and just conservatives -- are looking at the election. National Journal, listing all of the weekend's political programming, had this item: Election Countdown: View from the Right features Townhall.com's Amanda Carpenter, Washington Times' Brian DeBose, Weekly Standard's Stephen Hayes and ex-Romney press sec. Kevin Madden (CNN, SAT, 5pm). There are a couple of things wrong with this. First, there apparently is no "Election Countdown: View from the Left." As Kyle at Right Wing Watch noted, "It seems that CNN has decided that the weekend before the election is as good a time as any to give conservative commentators an hour of free airtime to lay out their agenda. If CNN is also planning on giving liberals an hour to talk about the election, I haven't heard anything about it." (I have a call into CNN, but as far as I can tell, the right will get an hour, and the left will get nothing.)
