Everybody is ranked according to their activity within a certain interest category. Someone who is extremely active in the mylot interest for example will find themselves ranked higher than somebody that only participates in that section once in a while. Some people like to see themselves ranked highly in certain interests so will spend a lot of time in that particulat interest catageory to achieve this. It's all up to you really, but if you decide you would like to be ranked highly in a specific interest category then go for it and be as active as possible there!
