We all believe in God. When we make mistake we ask forgiveness of our sin. To whom are we going to confess our sin? Do we need a human intercessor? or all we need is to kneel down and pray to Jesus Christ?

If God is all seeing and all knowing as many Christians believe Him to be, then he isalready aware of our sins. If we feel sorrow for something we did, He knows that as well. And if we truly attempt to change our ways then He is already aware of this also. So why would we need a human intercessor if God is already aware of what is in our hearts and in our minds?
I was born and raised in the Catholic faith, but never really bought into the Penance or Confession aspect of it. I worked for the Catholic church for 15 years, and at this time I do not consider myself to be a Catholic any longer. That does not mean that I left God, but I found another faith that is more in tune
with my beliefs. I have a real problem with the kind of people that the Catholic church chooses to be in their leadership positions. To me, Confession is another way the the Catholic church intrudes into ones life and tries to tell others how to live. I am a follower of Christ and look to Him to tell me how to live. If I have done something wrong or am left with bad feeling as to how I handled a situation, I should go straight to the source, so to speak, and talk with God himself.

Yes, we don't need any human mediator for the confession, repentance and forgiveness of sins. We are instructed by the Holy Bible that we can only confess and ask forgiveness of our sin directly to Jesus Christ our God and Savior, no need for any intermediaries.
If you want to know more about Jesus Christ and some of the history about Catholic Church there is a book entitled "The Alpha & Omega" by Ellen G. White.

the true mediator is jesus christ if you beleve in god and you are into the christianity as the bible says :
jhon 14:26 : but the helper, the holy spirit, whom father will send in my name,he will teach you all things, and bring your rememnbrance all that i said to you
as i said..you dont need a man to confess your sin..all you need to to is kneel down and pray to jesus christ..cuz the true savior is him..not the man...he is the one that you are going to be 100% that is going to hear you..and that is going to forgive you.. if you confess the sin to a man..whats the point? thit you failed to him?..no..you failed to god if you comited a sin..so he is the one that you must talk to..kneel and pray..and as for forgiveness to jesus christ

That's a pretty typical, self-centered attitude. Sorry to bust your bubble, but we don't *all* believe in god. There are millions who don't believe there is such a thing as god or gods, and millions more who don't believe in the christian god or in Jesus. When I make a mistake I try to correct it. If it means I've hurt or offended someone I apologize to them, and try to make up for it. What good does it do them if I get on my knees and apologize to some invisible being? If we need forgiveness, it's from the person we hurt. Making mistakes isn't a sin. It's part of being human. And the best thing we can do is learn from our mistakes so that we don't make the same ones again. From what I've seen in a very long lifetime, is that being able to ask forgiveness for your *sins* usually means that you don't bother to try avoiding them in the future. Asking forgiveness is so much easier than trying to make sure you don't have to ask for it.

Indeed, not all people believe in God. It is a mistake to think that all people believe in God. Making mistake is a human instinct and asking forgiveness is a noble thing to do. Asking for forgiveness is best if one is trying to change. Learning from mistake is one step in achieving one's dream.
Making mistake is inherent to human nature because we are weak. Mortal makes mistake because they are weak, we are weak. That's why we need Jesus, the Son of God. The Savior of the world. Nobody can change his or her attitudes without the help of God. Kneeling down for prayer is a noble thing to do. It is a sign of humility and submission to God.
Jesus is the only mediator, savior man has. Nobody should be afraid to approach Jesus. He is a loving, merciful God and Creator.

I believe it was the Apostle Paul who said that, because of what Jesus did for us at Calvary, we can now "go boldly before the throne of grace." While we are allowed to go to God ourselves rather than through a mediator, we still have the help of the Holy Spirit you speaks for us when we don't know how to say what we need or want to say. It's also a comfort to know that when Satan is accusing us before God, Jesus is there on our behalf reminding God that He cleansed us from all unrighteousness.

yeah..majority of us here on earth believed on one God..but others believed on three Gods or multiple God in other words..and the real mediator is the person who is very prominent in the bible and it is Jesus Christ our real mediator no other mediator except him.
