go to the bank and discuss it with the bank that way you will know where the mistake was made but do not spend it until you know weather it is your or not

well...try to return of the money, give it a chance, it shows that you are honest and firing you is wrong at the first place. but just in case you got nothing for returning it, well it's not your money at all, so you are actually doing the right thing. see, you have nothing to lose

I guess its really not right if your employer would just fire you without any reasons at all, it is really against the law for them to do so. You actually could sue them if they just fire you without any reason at all. But there are times that some companies have to lay off workers or employees because of the current situation of the economy, but even if that is the situation you really still have the right to know why you are being fired. There is actually a big difference between being fire from being laid off. People get fired when they have done something wrong to the company like if they had some misconducts or if he disobeyed company rules and policy. This could actually affect your records and reputation the next time you seek employment from a different employer, it would really be hard to seek employment if you were fired by your employer. Unlike if you are just lain off then this just means that the company could not afford to pay their employees anymore that is why they are laying you off. If you were just lain off then it would be much easier to look for another job because this would not actually affect you records. As you know before a company hires a person they have to do some investigation about you and your performance on your previous employer, that is why there is really a big difference if you would say that you were fired or just lain off. And another thing, whenever an employee is fired or lain off he or she receives a compensation from his employer which we call a separation pay. Maybe what you received is just your separation pay and not your salary.

I think you should go directly to your previous employer and ask them why they are still crediting pay into your account. Maybe that is just your pay that was not credited before you left? . . . Don't you think? Better make sure first because its better to be honest than wait for it to backfire after a couple of months. If the credit was made in error and you have already spent the money, your previous employer might ask you to return it back.

Send them a registered letter (because you need proof that you contacted them -may be) and tell them that they made a mistake by paying you. And then wait. DonĀ“t touch the money.

if i were u,i would either save the money or use it up...Don't even give them back the money...this is reality...free money! not many people get a chance to have that... and this can be a chance for u to payback for what they done to u.. and btw...is it possible that this is the amount of money u earned last time from work and they forget to pay u...so now they pay u back.. so good luck! :]

I would suggest you call your former employer by phone and speak with them. Maybe nobody saw the mails you sent. You may even help to uncover a fraud.

were you entitled to serverance pay or vacation pay, that the company is now paying you? If I were you, as much as you may need the money, I would not spend it in case it is audited and you have to give it back. If the company is not responding to you as to why they are crediting money to your account, you should talk to your bank. Do not spend the money, it may come back to bite you.

Since you have been fired without any cause, under labor code, that is illegal dismissal and you are entitled by law to fight for your rights as an employee. In your case, it is best if you don't use the money for the meantime. It is important that you seek for legal counsel and file a labor complaint so you will have justice on your part.

At the end you'll have to return it..because they will notice it sooner or later. We all know what a right thing to do is lol, but would we do it? Or would we just wait and see. I guess it all depends on how your job ended. You do what you feel is ok, its not worthed losing your sleep over this, so if you thing you can take the money without guilt then take it, if you'll have your concious knocking at the back door, then give it back. Its up to you really. But i do think if they made a mistake they'll find it soner or later.

Hi, I think you should make them a call and tell them what's going on. I don't know which country are you from, but if you are in china, if you spend the money that the bank send you by mistake, you may be put into prison if they finally find out, it is the same guilty to cheat money from bank or from your previous company. So, take care!

I always follow the basic principle "Honesty is the best policy " in situations like this.I know considering the circumstances you are tempted to take it as a kind of poetic justice since you were fired wrongly and you need the money, but you can never tell returning the money may just be the decision that gets you that job back or another one. There are so many ways the honesty route could turn out to be the correct one.you could just go to the back (and this is what i suggest since the emails have not worked) to withdraw the money and meet up your new employer, the bank manager who is impressed by this getsure - or it could be someone else you meet in the bank to talk to and he is impressed by you and is seeeking someone with your abilities to work in his/her organization. There are so many many ways that this gesture may spawn opportunities for you.You may take back the money to your workplace and you meet the manager of the company who sees that you are an asset to the company and wonders why you were fired and rehires you . And if you never get back your job or none of the situations described above come true, your conscience will be clean, you will sleep better.Do the right thing.
