mexico travel

i would like to go to mexico to have dental work done. but i hear theres so many killings it makes me leary.whats your take on this

I have been to Mexico twice and had a safe time. I know that the prisons are dangerous places where prisoner live under harsh and unsafe conditions. There is crime in Mexico City after dark sometimes. I think that tourists usually stay safe and perhaps the killings happen between the gangs. Dental care in the USA costs a lot of money so many Americans go to Mexico like to Cancun. I wish you happy traveling if you do go to Mexico.
