My husband is in Navy. And he is most of the time sailing. When he is out for long time like for a month or so, i feel bad initially but then after a few days i get settled and my little son is there to keep me occupied all the time. He is my stress buster as well as giver also. But then again when it is time for a reunion we cannot wait to see each other(me n my husband). Thankfully his sea time is a temporary phase. We are soon getting a base appointment. i am so happy. I am tired of waiting for him for days now.

Hi, I'm sorry you've had to go through these sad periods waiting for your husband to return. It reminds me of a movie, a love story, I watched some years ago called "breaking the waves" I'm pretty sure was the title. I'm happy that soon you won't be separated from your husband any longer. I met a man the end of 2006 and we were inseparable for a year and then I moved away. He wasn't able to join me like we planned. And it doesn't look like he will be able to join me for many months. To be alone without someone special who spends allot of time with you is very difficult. This has been a difficult year for me. I don't like where I moved at and I've been very depressed and lonely. The only person I have to talk to is my son. I talk to my boyfriend over the phone pretty frequently. I'm just not getting any fun and enjoyment out of my life. I can't get interested in anything. Anyways sorry I got off the track. I'm glad you have a little family to be happy with.

My husband is military too so I know how you feel. I am usually the one waiting for him to come home but once in awhile it is him waiting for me. Sometimes I go visit my family without him, so he is waiting for my return instead of the other way around. It isn't often though.
