the boys had a blast my 2 year old did so well walking the whole time and didn't complain once, he kept stealing more candy then he was supposed to out of the bags people were passing out lol, everyone was cool about it though and let him get as much as he wanted. my 5 year old was very polite and made sure he thanked each person who gave him candy.

every year my husband and i take our son out trick or treating. we usually all dress up in costumes and have so much fun. this year i'm pregnant with twins and couldn't fit into any costumes. i just painted my face as a tiger this year. my husband went as darth vader. my son went as batman. even though i couldn't dress up in a costume, it was still a lot of fun. we're really looking forward to next year's halloween when we get to go with my son and the twins.

How cute. I do remember those days. I had a very different Halloween this year. My husband coaches softball so he was gone with his team to play in a tournament. Our daughter asked me to come to her house and give out candy since she just had a baby and didn't want to get up and down. So this is what I did for the evening. It was a first since it's the first grandbaby living near us. The weather was nice too so the trick or treaters didn't have to deal with the usual rain and chilly or cold conditions.

It wasn't terrible, but I had to work from 1-10pm, so I didnt really get a chance to celebrate much. I tried to make it down to a haunted house, but by the time I got there it was already closed. I did carve a pumpkin though. Usually I carve them weeks before Halloween, but this year I've been so busy that I didnt really get a chance. And then I just watched a movie and drank. Pretty lame.

It was raining all day on Halloween. However, it didn't dampen the spirits of all those costumers (although it did decrease the amount of people who actually went door-to-door trick-or-treating). A lot of people wouldn't even wear rain coats because it covered up their awesome costumes. I didn't do anything to celebrate Halloween but I got to see some nice costumes. There were some that were especially memorable for me. One was a ninja doctor who could heal and assasinate people at the same time which is kinda a paradox. Another one wore a hideous monster-human mask but with glasses over top. He was studying his notes like that and it looked so hilarous that my friend and I couldn't resist taking pictures of him. Seeing all those students dressing up, I feel like wearing a costume next year as well :)
