I was supposed to return to work when my daughter was six weeks old. I worked a very stressful and time consuming job. I often worked ten to twelve hour days. Well, my daughter will be two in March and I have not been back to work.
I run my own business and although it doesn't make much money right now, I am 100% happy being able to stay home with my little girl.

I quit my job 3 days before I was supposed to go back. It was hard for me at first but it's been over 9 years now and it was the best thing I ever did. I have never missed a first and I have been able to be there for every single thing for both my girls. I wouldn't change a thing.

Yes I did return to work. I stayed off work about 2 and a half months and then after that, we put our DD in daycare so I could go back to work. I work as a juvenile intake officer in San Jose and LOVE my job.

I didn't want to stay at home. It was hard enough on me being off work for 9 weeks after she was born. I wanted to go back to work, so I did. I worked all through my pregnancy with no complications and went into labor over the weekend. I was planning on working up until she was born. But alas, nature had other plans. I wound up having to have an emergency c-section, but all turned out okay.

I gave birth to my daughter just over 14 years ago. At that time I was the only one working in our home, but I managed to bea ble to take the maternity leave that you can receive through the Canadian government. Unfortunately that only lasted 27 weeks back then and I had to return to work at that time. I fyou can afford to stay home consider yourself very fortunate. I wish I could have, but such is life...c'est la vie.

Well, with my first born (6 years ago) I stayed at home for the first year, but soon after money got so tight I needed to go back. Now, I just had my second born 4 months ago, and my boyfriend tells me taht it's ok if I want to stay home. I have been, but I am trying to make a little money online with at home jobs. I decided that I want to go back to work, so I am now working outside the home a few days a week. My boyfriend is a little concerned that the baby will miss me too much, but I think she will be fine with her daddy. I have her in a great routine, since she was a month old, and my bf is afraid that she wont follow the routine when he's home with her.
