social networking sites

social networking is probally at its peek at the moment with sites like myspace and facebook recieving millions of visitors per day. some people practically spend all day on these networking sites talking to people and what not. though others believe that these sites are stupid. what are your views on social networking sites.

i have a social networking page i do go on it daily but for only like half an hour i cant be on there for the whole day there isn't loads to do i just check my page write comments and thats it it doesn't take me the whole day.

yeah i am in the same boat as you. i just check mail and whatever on it and maybe send a message or 2 myself. i believe that most people whom are spending extended periods on social networking sites are those which have alot of 'cyber buddies'
