That's the main reason I use my cell phone for is to get on the internet. i gamble on sports, and I do most of my bets on my phone. It makes it great for those times when I'm away from home without access to my computer. I use it for online shopping every now and then. I'm not in favor of carrying a laptop everywhere I go so my cell phone is perfect.

Good for you! I find this thought hard to do when you are on the Internet!

Do you also do online bill pay from your phone? I have, and in a pinch it works! You can even purchase things from ebay if you're fast enough.

I used to pay my bills on my phone. I only do it if my bill is late. It was running up my credit card to t do it. Now I just Make sure I have enough money to pay it when the bill comes.

I don't on my phone, I think my phone is capable of getting the internet, but I have to pay extra for it, and I think it can be expensive, so I just use my phone for calling people.

Yes, it is an added feature that will have additional costs to it. I agree with you, I would rather have an telephone to call people, rather than use my cell phone.. My phone plan is unlimited. I have Vonage..

So, how much are you paying a month with your usage? I have my Internet Service and Cable with Time Warner. And I have my telephone services with Vonage.. I have been doing my best to get it cheaper.. I guess this is as cheap as it gets.. It is so much better than paying Verizon. They can be pretty expensive when billing..

Vonage is pretty good! We used to have it but now our local cable company bundles cable, internet, and VoIP so we have the same type of phone service as Vonage for less lol.

Yes, I do, I really like to surf in the net on my cellphone especially during the times that I needed to use the net. I usually use the internet using Wifi that way it's free but rarely use the internet if there's no WiFi access near me, it was quite expensive if I use it.

I do occasionally because I have an unlimited data plan (internet, text, email) but it is nothing like internet at home on a desktop or even mobile on a laptop. First of all even though I have an excellent phone with a large screen, it still isn't big enough to see things without frames and some things just will not display properly. It's also much much slower and sometimes I can't even pull particular sites up. I've used it a few times to log onto mylot and post, which is fun but again takes extra time because of all the scrolling involved. If I had to pay for my usage, I wouldn't use it at all, there is no way to know how much you are using until you check your bill, and it simply isn't that good. I know that the iPhone is supposed to be nearly as good as using a laptop with wifi but despite the speed, it doesn't seem any more user friendly than my Tmobile service. I didn't have it on my previous phone but the model I have is pretty much designed FOR the data plan, without it some of the features don't work right. I'm a text addict and it was only 10 bucks more for unlimited data on top of unlimited text only so I sprang for it.

I also have access to messengers (yahoo, msn, aim) on my phone and again it's included in my data plan so I can instant message mobile all day if necessary lol. I also take advantage of the email, I communicate with my husband at work using it.

I have it on mine but it can be costly, and since my cell phone is prepaid, I have a prepaid plan with unlimited texting, my data plan is not covered and I have 1.01 for that type of extras right now, so no. No net on the cell for me.

Yes, it is very costly. I agree. I would just use my Cable Provider to access the Internet..

No, it's way to expensive. The only time I would recommend to use it, is to buy games from the company and not via the text to buy games. The web way is cheaper.

Well, I did that before but it charges me a lot. I used my cellphone before to communicate with my sister via internet. Means, she is using the internet while sending message to my cellphone. Now it is inverted, I am using the internet to send message to her through her cellphone. She just registered her number on yahoo and that I could reach her through my internet connection. That's cool!!!

Hi cream97, I do try to but sometimes it hard as you are trying to listen to the other person and at the same time trying respond to on Mylot, you loose your consentrations, so in the end I just talk to the person on the cell phone. Tamara
