Our daughter, (Minnie on myLot), visited today (Saturday). She had just Savanna, our granddaughter this time. The boys were at their dads for the weekend. In the attatched photo Savanna is bundled tightly and did not want to wake up. But once she did she was all smiles. Until the hunger set in that is. We went shopping and ended up buying her a couple toys for Christmass gifts. Well this one musical ball with lights that is motion activated, she fell in love with loving the music but more so the lights. So we opened it and gave it to her today. I wanted to wait, but Savanna loved it too much. Have you ever bought a gift for a special occasion or Holiday only to turn around and give that gift right away like this? HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob, Even though I can't see your granddaughters face I can't tell that she is the most beautiful girl. What a darling. Yes I also buy gifts for my grandson and then turn around and give them to him before the big day. He is now six years old but when he was younger I would pretty much buy him a toy or something every single day. He is spoiled rotten and he know it. Sometimes he even tells people that. Anyhow he is a sweetie and I am very very proud of him. I also have two other grandchildren who are also spoiled rotten but because the 6 year old lived with us for the first few years he got more than his fair share but I am not complaining. Anyway enjoy your granddaughter and keep spoiling her that's what grandparents are for

I must say that when I buy gifts for a special occasion I have a real hard time waiting til the holiday or special occasion to give it and I end up giving it to the person early. You seem like you had a great day with your granddaughter (awwwww). I know she will love it and many more gifts you give to her.

Thank you very much. She has way too many clothes though I think. She can wear a different outfit till she's about 6 months old each day. Well, not that many, but a LOT none the less. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Savanna has Grandpa wrapped around her little finger. heehee. I cannot wait until our grandson is born in February so I can be that kind of Granny. Yes I have bought many of gifts for a special occasion and ended up giving it to the person early. Sometimes I was so excited about the gift that I had to give it to them early. Give all your grand child kisses for me.

She has me wrapped around every single little finger of hers. That's my problem as well, I get too excited wanting to see the reaction of them getting a gift that they love. But with Savanna it wasn't the case. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Awe. Savanna is a beautiful little girl! I know Grandpa Bob is enjoying spoiling her a little bit too. There is definitely nothing wrong with that! Yes, I too have bought gifts for people and thought I would put them up for their birthday or christmas and I just knew they would love it so much that I couldn't wait to give it to them. Sometimes it is hard to keep special gifts a secret for very long! Happy MyLotting!

Savanna is darling. I buy gifts for the children all the time intendeing to give them to the children for Christmas. Most of the time I can hold off but there have been several occasions that I have given one of the children a present early. Like when my sons grandmother comes over to give them their Christmas gifts from her. She brings the boys presents but not my daughter so I keep a couple presents hidden in my closet so Caitlyn doesn't feel left out. My husband hides the rest of the presents in the garage so I won't give them away early.

Yes, I had been tempted, but then we would have to buy something else and we can't afford to do that..But, I did buy something for my daughter, because she wanted this CD for an early Christmas gift. I wanted to wait until Christmas or Hanukkah, but she said she wanted it as an early gift, so I may have to give it to her, and remember that she did get that gift. But I will be looking for something I know she wants, and hopefully surprised her with those..

I have done this with my kids as well when they were little. So much so that I can not recall how many years ago that we as a family opened our presents on Christmas Day. It is always a day or three before hand we open them. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hi Grandpa Bob you do have a cutie for a granddaughter, I love the name savanna too. My mom used to do that when my sister was a baby , we would go shopping and pick out something for her, the baby and Mom would let her see it. she would inmmediately glom onto it and not let go so Mom ended up giving it to her instead of waiting til Christmas. My husband used to do that to me, and once my mom saw I was trying to buy a coat and didnt have all the money so she paid for the rest and gave my Christmas present to me early. It was a really pretty coat too.

Hi Grandpa Bob, She's gorgeous. I'm sure she'll be properly spoiled this Christmas, as it should be. I think I've seen the toy you've mentioned, and they're wonderful. No wonder you couldn't resist giving it to her. I'm sure I've done just the same, when my daughter was little, although no specifics come to mind. Take care.

I am sure it was a wonderful visit. Giving gifts early can happen. My hubby and I bought our anniversary gift early. It was an expensive item we found on sale. We appreciate it non the less. I look at it like this, giving her the gift early means she gets to have the fun of looking at it and you get early joy of watching her with it.Everyone wins!

Hey Grandpa Bob! It's always great to see that beauty Savanna! I just wish she didn't have to cover her little sweet face! She's being a silly girl! It's ok if she got one little Christmas present! It's her first Christmas! I can't wait to see all the pictures of her from Christmas. I know that there will be plenty and they will be great! Tell Minnie I was asking about her! We miss her around here! Guess the kids are keeping her real busy now! Give that little Savanna a kiss for me!
