Lava lamps

Do you have a lava lamp? My brother had given me a lava lamp years ago, when I moved I broke it, maybe I really did not break it, it might have just needed a bulb. I did not know that and threw it away.
My husband and I went to a yard sale a couple years ago, and saw one and bought it. Then after, it seems every yard sale we went to there would be a lava lamp for sale. We bought them all, some we sold on ebay, some we re sold at our own yard sales, and two we kept.
Do you happen to have a lava lamp, if so do you turn it on often? We have ours in the bathroom, and I hardly turn it on.

Oh we have one in the living room. And we turn it on when the night comes. Sometimes when im thinking, I would always lay my eyes on those lamp. Watching the lava-like substance floating and sinking. It always attracts my eyes whenever im passing by in the living room.
Its good to turn it on by night because beside its bright light, it generates heat. Very ideal to use it in a bedroom and when the night is cold.

Yeah, I find it soothing sometimes to watch the lava balls floating up and down, I have a blue one and a smaller red one.

i did have one but there are really annoying because u have to leave them on for about an hour before it starts to move but you cant leave it on too long because it gets really hot and could start a fire so i threw mine out
