I have been pouring ceramic molds all day. I had poured a turkey mold and had it drying on the table. My darn dog came up and stole my turkey and ruined it!!!! This was the second one I had poured cause the first one messed up. I got it away from her and she knows she is in deep trouble.
She is 9 months old and will steal anything not nailed down. She has been terrible all day I think cause of last night she was disturbed by all the trick or treaters and had to be on her leash and harness while we were handing out candy (she is a HUGE dog and I was afraid she would scare the kids she would never hurt them though).
So here I go again pouring the dang turkey.....I have to pour atleast 3 cause I want to make one set of salt and pepper shakers with it.
here are some pics of the other stuff I did today.
Ever get done with a craft and a catastrophie happen to it?

At least the dog didn't choke on the turkey. Poor thing. Wasn't the a scene from a Christmas Story?
I really hate when I forget how to sew the quilting layers together right and wind up with the batting on the outside instead of the inside. Ripping stitches takes FOREVER.

Well atleast she didn't swallow any of it I am sure slip isn't good for dogs. Oh my mom gets real frustrated when she is quilting especially if it is a difficult pattern.

Oh your dog loves your art yes years ago I got into cross stitch and I decided to cross stitch a ginger cat on to a windcheater, it took me months to do and then when I washed it, all the orange colour ran into the white windcheater, it was geart breaking...

Oh that bites! Yeah I was highly frustrated! It was bad enough that the first one was a bust then I got a perfect one and she mutilated it!!!

Oh i am sorry this has happen to you. I have two minature pinschers. One is an excellent jumper. He will jump up to take things if he wants them. Espically if he thinks it is food. he has jumped on things and ruined or broke them. I try to give him extra time outside to run and get his energy out. But this little buuger will whine when I put him in the back yard that is fenced in. As he can't stand to be left alone.

Yep, and the kicker is turkey is good for dogs. So that makes turkey even that more tempting to them. They just can't resist.

I posted once but it did not upload. I had painted a lot of Christmas houses, and my soon to be son in law leaned back on a chair and crashed them, damaging a few. I hope your dog did not eat too much clay, that cannot be too good for him.

hehehe, maybe you forgot to feed your dog, thats why it ate your turkey. i also have a problem with animals like that. like our cat in the house, i caught him getting our cooked fish in the table. my mom was so angry with the cat and she try to get the fish from the cat but the cat is so fast, it run away along with our fish. hehehhe, but i guess animals like to get food from the table. hehehe :)

Oh she knows better than to steal real food. It was a ceramic turkey that was still drying and still soft and she grabbed it and ran. There is no forgetting to feed our 90 pound 9 month old Akita she won't stand for it lol.

Oh LOL! That's really naughty of her. I love big dogs too. I guess you know about Tina? She didn't exactly destroy any handicraft of mine. That's because I am not much into craft. I do garden a lot, however, and Tina used to get into serious trouble because she would utterly destroy my banana plants by stripping the leaves off them. That's why she is confined to the kennel yard now and is allowed to romp only on the top of the hill, twice a day.
Cheers and happy mylotting

Sorry you had to start over. Our dogs can be like our kids can't they? lol I can't say I have had a craft destroyed. But finding your dog up on the table when you have prepared a meal can be just as nerve racking. I am sure your salt and pepper shakers will turn out great!

I thought this was going to be a discussion along the lines of mine when the dog killed the chicken! I sympathise regardelss. How awful to go to all that work and have it spoilt, no wonder the dog knows she's in trouble!
The funniest 'craft / pet' story I have it when my Mum made some delicious looking quiches and left them to cool under clean tea towels. When she came back the cats were curled up asleep on top of them!!!
