Why arent male strippers popular?

In my home country...I know 2 male strip clubs Adonis and Gigolo. That's the haven of gays. Maybe there isn't much male strip clubs coz men by nature are the one who would actually pay just to see women's body. Us women don't have to pay for a man to strip for us. We just use our charm then they'll strip. LOL

We have them in Ontario in fact in Niagara Falls we have had Peppermints for YRS now and yes tons of women go...I use to work upstairs at Mints long ago when the club was jumping...there were also groups that would come into the region as well on occasion like ChipnDales and the like...In Kitchener we use to have the occasional mixed nights (usually on a Sat) when the stage would have both male and female dancers...A girl would do a show then a guy would do a show and so on..those were a HUGE hit for couples...that was long long ago though....

They don't have much to show as they strip.

Maybe men arent as willing to get up there and "bare it all" for money LOL.

because there aren't enough female and gay customers. lol!!! now that you mentioned it, yeah, the female strippers outnumber their male counterparts but i see no problem in this. hahaha!!! i guess the society being more male dominated and the females playign their conservative role in society to the hilt, thus we see less females askign for more male strippers but we see more male customers looking for a fresh female stripper to watch every so often. just my thoughts. cheers!!!

I have seen some male strippers here, but not because i went to the club but only because friends had it video taped. I don't know but i am not happy and proud of what i saw. For me it's not sexy watching those men doing all those stuff. It is not that they are not good looking. They do have the looks and good body but i just don't like seeing men doing that thing. Maybe that is why male strippers are not popular, people don't talk about them much or what they have seen.

I seem to remember a male strip act but I don't remember their name. It was quite publicized with several members becoming very successful in solo careers. I haven't heard of a proliferation of male strippers though, the way we hear of female strippers.

Moonlit..about 10 yrs ago they used to travel through my town and put on shows..never went but heard they were popular..maybe the money wasn't as good since more men seem to give more money or the guys decided to go into movies where the money is??

I guess not many women out there are so "adventurous" as you to see male strips. Women are a lot more decent than men and I believe this is the reason you find there are not that many male strip clubs around.

You don't need a club, just ask 10 men on the street to strip for you, and 9 will, men can't sell it' because they'll give it away to easy.

Actually they are in all big cities across the us they just arent talked about as much.
