mine is a 17inch screen and i think it is big enough for me. i think most are using 19inch and i had a friend who is using a 21 or 22 inch samsung screen and it was really giganti for a cpu. i also find it difficult to move around as the screen is so huge to me. how about you? what are u using now?

samsung lcd screen is not too good. i had one that last less than 18 months. now my current LG crt last me slightly more than 3 years and doing fine. haha. but i think 17 is good enough for me too.

just to make comment about the samsung monitor. you know whats wrong about samsung lcd monitor is that they don't last long perhaps for a year or a year and a half. as my experience. most of the monitor have problems about power supply especially when you use it 24 hours a day. the best one is the LG and there is one from sharp. but you can still ask others which is the best quality.

aha!I bought a 21'' Samsung monitor couple of days ago, and my last monitor is 17''. I like the big monitor because I could open more windows at one time. Now, i usually open an IE window for surfing online, and also an woking window for my project. At the same time, large monitor has some advantage especially when watching some 16:9 movies. Have a nice day!

hehehe.. make sense at all. sized does matter as always as it should be. size of the screen or computer monitor may depend on your personal need. that is the best way i can tell. Choosing the right size of your personal monitor should be wise but not just the sized you should consider the ratio or pixels of your monitor so as the radiation emitted by your monitor. so that's all. nice day to you.

wow. there are lots of factor u are considering and i guess u are familiar with computer stuffs and IT. for me, i do not know so i just choose the right size or width. 17 is just right for me. after staring at 17 for past few years, i find 15inch looks funny. maybe i try to upgrade to 19 next and see if i can get use to it.

you can have as many as you want or i mean replace it with a new one. coz i guess you have and extra buck to spend for that monitor.

19'', wide screen. But now i think normal screen is better, because every time i watch rmvb file it does not fit to my wide screen. too bad.....

Hi there friend. My current monitor (at my girlfriend's computer) is a classic 17" monitor. The one at my home computer is an LCD monitor of 17" as well and my laptop has the equivalent of 17" as well. I think that is enough for me.
