TV or Newspaper: Which Can Be Reliable?

okay let me put it this way.......both TV news and newspapers are not completely the truth....they most of the time expose the so called news without proper facts or base....there is a saying called the half truth is more dangerous than the lie. you must see tv and read news papers to know what the truth stands..or at least get the right picture. read more than one news paper ,,you will know the difference and most of us will get the correct picture .

Both are not 100% reliable. Though they cannot give false information but their news is far from the truth. They fabricate the news report to make it more catchy and interesting. Sometimes their news give people the wrong picture, like the fighting in some parts of the world. We see the place in a terrible mess but in actual fact it is not as bad as the report.

My belief is that the printed word is more accountable as a news form that TV which moves so quickly that people can be somewhat hypnotized by the "sound bites" that permeate and lose track of whether the arguments have any validity. We cannot regard articles in print as being "the truth" but we can hold them up to finer scrutiny than the non-print media. This is one way of looking at reliability.

Hi excellence! I much rather rely on watching the news on TV. I feel that is more reliable and certainly much more up to date. TV news is up to the minute. If you are reading a newspaper obviously it is not current and up to the minute. I just don't even see why people bother reading it anymore. I either read the news on the internet or watch it on TV. Those sources are able to update the most current events whereas the newspapers can't do that.

hi. i think TV is better than newspaper, we can judge the news whether its true or not because most of the news is realtime unlike newspaper.

hello, i think newspaper are more have media and lot of enformation to the people that have problem. thats why newspaper is one can give all enformation there problem In the TV are not to give all enformation thats why all people have to see in TV are not enterested to see what are the problem. if you see the newspaper all thing that you have idea thats why newspaper now is one of red people.. i will agrree for the newspaper heehe...... nice topic friend.........
