Becoming Successful is Trying to Be Different?

When I was younger, I tried my best to be different. It doesn't much matter now that I'm older. I don't even think of success the way I used to before. I am not successful the way other people are. Cheers!!

it is true in some part. when we are not successful, we think to change the way we work to achieve success. so at times its something like to be different. it is to make mark within the crowd

I totally believe in being individual and original. People who stand out from the crowd are more innovative and adaptable. Those are the sort of people who will do well in business and achieve personal success. I think there is a big difference between being professional or business success, which is generally seen in terms of money and status, and personal success, based on gaining satisfaction in life and reaching personal goals. I am successful in my own way, not in the ways society generally judges success.

I read somewhere that successful people do not do different things but they do things differently which I believe totally. I think that successful people are more focused and determined than normal people that is why they are successful. Also they know exactly what they want for their lives. I wish you successful life at all of you.

Exactly yes!! When we do things differently we'll definitely be a winner. Winners don't do different things,they do things differently. Success... attainable to all, as long as you stay consistent and clear with what your trying to succeed in. A lot of successful people find a niche that's missing in the world and try to fill it. Some go about it creatively while others go about it technically. Whatever you do, make sure your improving on being successful everyday. That's my motto!!!

I don;t think doing the thing in a different way would be a better option to become successful in life. For me, it is a matter of hard work and determination to succeed is the best way to reach our dream to be successful. hard work is the most important thing.. though you are doing the same thing with what others are doing, it doesn't matter as long as you are a hard working, and goal oriented? you will be successful.

I think you're talking about being successful in the business world. But success is measured by other factors as well. Like success for Mother Theresa is in the number of people she helps. Success for Napoleon would be in his conquests. I guess it makes sense that you ought to stand out in your field of expertise to be successful.

i agree with you a lot.Yes,being successful really needs different ways in life.because if a lot of people know one thing,it must be a usual thing,not a fresh thing.as a successful people.he should have his own fresh and special way to do something in life to win the victory.different ways make different results.lol happy mylotting.

Success in life (for me) is not measured on what a person did but its how a person achieved his/her goals.

Well, you don't have to be to different afterall. Being totally different can make people mistake you as a geek or some sort

I think that being successful is having a dream and then reaching that goal. I mean, when we are kids we all have something we want to grow up to be. If you think about how many of us actually become that person we wanted to be, it's not as many as we would hope. In order to become successful we have to work real hard, and believe in ourselves. So in a way being different often does help, because when we have an idea and everyone shuts it down, but you stand by your idea, it could become successful.

Actually I am not agree with you. Becoming seccessful does not mean doing something differernt, and doing something defferent does not mean you can achieve seccess. I think to achieve seccess you must innovate than doing something different, something new and worth to do it, and something valuable. What do you think?

To be successful for me, is all about having a satisfied and wonderful living with the people around you. It is about gaining satisfaction within your own self.It takes a lot to be successful in life. You ought to have a full determination and concentration on something to achieve it. Yes, I agree with you. In order for a person to be a "somebody" someday, you must not stay in mediocrity. It is not about just doing any task ordinarily but doing it in extraordinary way. Trying to do things one percent better each day will make a difference in one's life.
