Appearance vs Society

i know a friend that told me he was being socially isolated because he looks too good looking. He lost all his friends because they would feel very depressed when he gets all the fame. My friend's friends would not hang out with him anymore because they also get isolated by society when they hang out with my friend. Does anyone have a similar case or know a solution for this
