My wife lost a large amount of posts and was naturally very upset about it. She posted a discussion stating the same and received over 50 responses to the discussion. It was her most successful discussion to date and completely changed her negativity into a positive attitude. And guess what? MYLOT HAVE NOW DELETED THE DISCUSSION THAT RECEIVED ALL OF THESE RESPONSES!!!!! So no doubt this discussion too will be deleted but I don't care. I want as many people to see it as possible before it gets deleted because this is absolute BS. Where are the violations in her discussion mylot? WHY did you delete it mylot? SHAME ON YOU MYLOT

To ignore or not to ignore James is the question now ? If it was 37 posts plus a discussion with 50+ responses, It's something to be extremely concerned about. Good to know that the discussion is back though. And i'm sure your wife will make up on those 37 deleted ones.

I couldn;t ignore something like that alok! That's the problem. I have a habit of getting quite defensive and protective really which may not be understood by many; but it is what it is! It's just a site right so who cares? I DID care because I know what a sad situation it was for her and how excited she was to have so many people step up and respond to her new discussion. Then it was suddenly gone so of course I reacted! lol. Thanks for responding and yes, she has certainly made up for the loss now.

Oh I am feeling good now. After I read through your discussion, I was damn perturbed! I think it was a glitch.

lol. So much for this discussion fading into the ether mimpi! I was quite peeved at the time to say the least; so of course reacted very negatively. Then I am in the car on a way to a meeting and get informed that the discussion had suddenly reappeared again! It is at times like this that I wish we had the ability to delete discussions we started. Oh well, what's done is done and if the same thing were to happen I would probably do this all over again! Thanks for the response and your support.

lol. You stirrers are giving this thread legs SaintAnne! I was mightily peeved at the time and for the life of me can't work out how it could be removed and then reinstated like this..... I was soooo disappointed because my wife was so upset and then so happy to have this negative thing be replaced by so many responses from her friends. Then it was gone so I of course ramped up! Now it's back and I get to look like an idiot! Hahahaha.

Wonderful! Yes, I remember this discussion of yours! I am happy to have ended up a poster boy for this circumstance too.

Here's one more leg for this thread, James. I think I'll use this as one of your other examples for my previous discussion about getting angry, doing something about it and then feeling like an idiot afterwards. But you know what? You did it because you love your wife. I am so impressed!

What was the topic about? Recently I posted a new discussion that was even in mylot digest and received quite a number of responses but it was deleted just the same.

It was a topic about losing 37 responses overnight and how she was of course upset by this turn of events. It received a good number of responses and then disappeared for a while and then returned. All a bit strange really. To have a discussion appear in the mylot digest and then have it deleted makes no sense whatsoever. I am pretty convinced that deletion has little to do with guidelines actually and more to do with the number of comolaints received. Thanks for the response ronaldinu.

When she tried to go to the discussion did a page come up that said 'due to MyLot violations this discussion has been removed' (or whatever they say), or could she just not find it anywhere. I've had discussions disappear that I made comments in... I thought they had been deleted (I ranted to myself over one of them for a few weeks!!). Then all of a sudden there they were back again. Weird.

No it didn't state anything like this and I wasn't even aware that such a notification appeared actually. The discussion just disappeared for around an hour; I ramped up big time; and then all of a sudden it was back again! Who knows what the heck the deal was with that? Yes it is definitely weird, it was the first day of the working week; I was not happy at all to see such a thing happen; so therefore lost the plot basically! Oh well. All's well that ends well I guess and it's good to let go of some steam once in a while.

Hmmm, maybe this thread did the trick to bring back the discussion thread. By the way, what was your wife thread that attracted so many replies? I'm sure would like to have a look at it.

I don't think that this discussion had anything to do with it coming back flowerhorn as it appears this has happened to others before as well. The first response to this discussion was the starter of that thread. If you look at their discussions started, the one referred to has the number 37 in the title. Thanks for responding.
