Christmas or New Year

Christmas is fast approaching and i got so excited about it. i really love Christmas because my family shares a very special moment and really prepares a party for the neighbors and gather them together outside our home. we often celebrate Christmas season. we also have our new year celebration but it is really different from the Celebration we have in the Christmas day.

I also like Simbang Gabi before Christmas and of course receiving gifts or giving gifts. I like to do some decorations for Christmas and wrapping some gifts. But when it comes to foods and eating I like New Year because we cook more on New Year's eve than Christmas, lol

Well as a child christmas was my favourite time and then when I grew up it was new year as I loved going out with my friends to celebrate it. Then when I got married and had children it went back to being christmas being my favourite time as I love the excitement and looks of my childrens faces when they see their christmas presents.

i love both celebrations, but my favorite would be christmas. i love eating together with my family over our "noche buena" or midnight feast. at the same time, i also enjoy the bonding moments i have with my boyfriend's family (you clearly know what i mean). :)

Both are exciting. Its the spirit the counts on how you truly accept the deeper sense or meaning of the occassion. Both signifies significant meaning on the life of each one of us.
