So I can't vote because I'm not an American citizen (and have no desire to be cause i refuse to give up my dual status) but out of curiousity, I'd like to know who you plan on voting for and what are the reasons..more specifically what are the issues that you are agreeing with or feel passionate about with the person your choosing? OR what is it about the opponent that you highly DISAGREE with? For those of you who CANNOT vote in the U.S, if you have been following the election stuff at all who would you choose pretending that you could vote here?

There is no "dual status" in the United States - either you are a citizen or you are not - if you are not a citizen of the United States, you are a citizen of another country. Why do you chose to live in America, yet not become a citizen - you are taking advantage of the freedoms that America has to offer, which are evidently better than those offered in your own country, or you wouldn't be here.

I have dual in Canada and the U.K..I refuse to give those up particularly my Canadian status..Why do I live here? becuase my husband is American and works here..THATS THE ONLY REASON..believe me if living in Canada again were an option I'd do it in a heartbeat..

McCain all the way! I can not stand a liar and I believe that is what we got in Obama, he is tied to too many terroist people and although he says they are not his friends, more and more information comes out each day showing him in attendance with these same people he just knows of. As late as 2003, tosting a member of what used to be the PLO, I can't for the life of me understand how anyone with the knowledge that has been given about this man could still say we should give him a chance, to give a fresh start to this country. This man wants to determine how much money you can make before HE decides that it is enough and starts to take it from you. He wants to spread the wealth, but yet he isn't spreading any of his around, we see that as he don't care what happens to his own family and how they have to live, and when he said that his aunt living here illegally the laws should just ship her out, he damn sure didn't return the money she was giving him in support till the news showed her here in Boston. If this is how he treats his aunt and his own half brother, can you imagine what he would do for you.He is wanting to up the tax on capital gains, and start taxing the small businessess here in the united states, gonna send us straight into a depression. Not a recession but a major depression. I guess everyone has the right to vote as they see fit, and somethink that Obama is going to bring this country together, which as i see it is not what he is after but to control your life and only give people what he thinks they deserve to have. He has already showed that he has split this country into and sprewed nothing but hatred amoung the people, I think we are going to have a major crisess here but it is going to be between the blacks and the whites as I have already seen and heard the blacks saying what they are going to make us white do when he is elected. How is this man bringing this country together, sorry I don't see it. People are going to get change, just like he said, but I don't believe that it is going to be the change they want, and when they are living in socialism, which is one step for communism then they will cry. I'm not saying that McCain is the best, but he has fought for his country all his life, he has been around Washington for many years and he has taken on the best, at least he has experience, where Obama was a community origniser, and didn't do a good job at that. In these time we are not in good standings with a lot of the nations and for this to be a learn as you go job, we have a lot to lose when he screws up. But I find that no matter how much dirt they find and alert the people too, they are blind, they can not see it. Another thing most of the people that are poor think he is going to drop them a bundle of money as soon as he is elected, I can just see him now saying oH I didn't know we was in sad shape, sorry I can't give the money I told you the country needs it, any one that will in Jan if elected starts taxing the 401K's that you have been saving with years now and now he has decided that it will be his money is no good. And all these things he has lined up to put into effect is going to take alot more than he can get off small businesses, those will be out of business and more people on the street in the welfare lines. Obama is bad for the country, I'm jsut afraid that it wll have to take him winning the election before some understand what he is going to do to this country then it will be too late.

This has been languishing so long that I can't leave it a moment longer. Obama. Give the world a chance to breathe and fight the wars that the present incumbent has inflicted upon us.
