What will happen if i switch off my computer without shutting down? Whether it affects the life of pc? or memory lost?Thank you have a nice time keep mylotting.

Yes, I agree with this. It's a bad habit. Of course, sometimes the power goes out for no reason (i.e. NO thunderstorms in the area, just some weird random power surge that nobody could have predicted), in which case you have no control over that, it just happens, unfortunately. But, most of the time you have the power, and you should choose to shut the computer down properly. It is just the right thing to do to preserve the life of your computer. :)

Its a bad habit. If you switch off the pc, the first thing gets worst is your hard disk. Because when you switch off, the heads in the hard disk will come to its original position. Because of this the HDD get scratches and the datas may corrupt.
And motherboard also gets affected.
Always shutdown dont switch off.

Yes, thank you for this more detailed explanation. :) I knew that it was a bad habit, but I don't really know the technical way of explaining things! :) What you describe sounds nasty! :( It sounds like things could get really BAD if you get into this very bad habit! :( Definitely always shut down your computer! :) Thank you again! :)

if you keep switch off by the power button it effects memory and loss of work and eventually ur computer would go to blue screen and then u wud have to reinstall windows. so i suggest u should shut down windows the normal way
