Its the first morning of the Fall Back of Time. I have been up since 5:00am it is now 6:45am, it is daylight outside ( I am looking out the window.) This is going to take some getting used to. I wonder what this evening is going to be like. It is going to get dark early. And around 8:00 pm my body will start feeling "bedtime". I guess my neighbors are getting their extra hour of sleep, not me it did not work for me I guess I will be getting mines tonight. How about you? How are you coping with this time change? Are you a good sleeper? Are you or did you get the extra hour of sleep?

I stayed up too late last night so I didn't get an extra hour of sleep. Instead I got an extra hour of internet time. :)

Sometimes the extra hour of internet time is worth giving up sleep for. Welcome to our little group at MyLot.

Thats me too, I haven't been getting an extra hour of sleep, I've been waking up earlier. I don't like the daylight savings time, it takes a little bit for my body to get used to it, some states don't even have it.

I didn't really get an extra hour of sleep. I went to bed rather late because I was up being lazy and not being productive at all. Then I woke up earlier today than I did the day before (even with the time change) so I didn't get that extra hour of sleep. I'm really not tired today or anything so I guess it doesn't really matter that I lost some sleep.

Hello I know that I am pretty beat right now and it is just about 8 at night . The last couple of days i have not been able to sleep all this well with the cold i have . I got up about 10 so i guess i got the extra hr , but didnt feel it really . I know the sun being out extra early will be a pain in my bum and the birds LOL. I have always been a light sleeper anyway . I still am not use to how early it got dark . For some reason i am still in summer mode . Lately the months just pass by so fast .

It's 7:43 here, and 24 hours ago it was 6:43. I didn't get the extra hour of sleep - I just woke up an hour early! Here's an even better one for you - when I was working overnights, having the Saturday night time change shift meant getting paid for an hour I didn't work - but it also meant in the Spring, I worked an extra hour that didn't get paid. The company's accounting software didn't know what to do with Daylight Savings Time. You'd THINK someone would work that out, wouldn't you?

I understand where you are coming from. The company I work for work 3 shifts too. It's just fortunate that we are on short time now due to the closing of the plant in about 2 more months.

i dont think im getting enough hours of sleep. i always sleep so late, 11pm is too early for me to sleep, sometimes i sleep at 12pm, sometimes much late... then i always wake at about 5am, coz i still have to attend to my kids... and during daytime, i cant get to sleep coz there are a lot of things to do in our house... i am hoping one day, i could get enough sleep... :)

Neither did I Chevee. As much as I tried to sleep a little bit longer, I couldn't and ended up getting up at 9:00 this morning when I'm used to getting up around 10:30 or so. The time change always does this to me but then the excitement of my parents house selling didn't help much either! lol

Are you on Eastern time like I am? lol I haven't heard anything yet but believe me, I'm on pins and needles right now waiting!! My shoulders hurt so bad from the tension and stress!! I've tried everything to get them to stop hurting but nothing has worked so far. I'm going to head outside to work some more in the yard in hopes to relieve some of this and maybe some of the pain too!! I promise, the first word I hear, I'll let you know!!

There is no changes in my time, but these few days, I've been having trouble sleeping. Which is really bad for me. I work graveyard shifts, so I really do need my sleep. And I can usually sleep during the day time, but these days, it's just not happening!! I used to be a good sleeper, I used to be able to sleep during the day time, and I can always get more than 8 hours of sleep. But for the past few days, I've been tossing and turning, and not being able to sleep despit of how tired I am.. Nothing changed actually, just that I cannot sleep. And when I am able to sleep, I toss and turn and the sleep is not as sound as it used to be!! So Chevee, I do know how you feel, by not being able to sleep. I have tried almost everything except white noise to fall asleep.. Maybe white noise is the way that will help me sleep..

No, I never get the extra sleep when the clock changes back, but it does feel so good to "have" that extra hour on that Sunday morning every year!! I get really tired of the daylight savings time thing and want it to just stay at this, our "normal" time and not change again. Hope that happens one of these years!

I got my extra hour, but then I almost always do I went to bed at my normal time and woke up at what is now ten a.m. Yesterday that would have been eleven a.m. Since I really have no set schedule, the time change won't bother me that much

I did get that extra hour of sleep. I felt well-rested the next morning. And then the morning after that. As expected, I fell asleep earlier than I'm used to and I woke up very refreshed.

no, i didn't. i have to wake up early today to accompany my dad to a hospital for his check up. we have to be there early to avoid a long queue. when i got home, i tried to sleep but i couldn't because it's so hot here in our country and sleeping at the middle of the day is not a good idea.

No, I could have, but since I was up for the bathroom, I stayed up. It was not five in the morning, though, it was seven. I am pretty fortunate, right now I stay up as late as I like and sleep in. I never thought that I would be doing that.

I did manage to sleep in until 8am today, but I technically did not get any extra sleep. I did not get to bed until a little after 1am. I am glad for daylight savings time today because I would have been really tired otherwise.
