Even we admit it or not. We noticed that our teachers in elementary, high school and college have a favorite students. More often than not they are the achievers in school. They are smart and always participate during discussions. Personally I experience being a teacher's pet when I was in first grade in my elementary days. I was the youngest among my classmates but I always participate in discussions. I was so happy that time but also pressured that I might disappoint her from her expectations. And that was the first and only time I became teacher's favorite in the class. How about you? Have you been teacher's favorite? What are the advantages and disadvantages in your case?

i have always been the teacher's pet. all during my schooling career. and i loved every minute of it and was never ashamed to admit it. there are more pros to being a teacher's pet than cons. the pros are that the class favoritism is directed towards you, your teachers can pull favors for you, and many more things. i just loved being the center of attention all the time. the cons could be that your classmates and friends might tease you for it, but the pros are too good to pay any attention to the cons. personally, i loved being my teachers' favorite. what about you?

Oh dear, I was going to comment but you said everything I wanted to say! I have always been a teacher's pet too and it's been great. It's especially wonderful in college, when your teachers are almost equals and you can have interesting conversations with them.
