Have you tried picking strawberries?

I love fresh strawberries! They taste different than the ones you get in the grocery store. I have grown them in the city but they just dont seem to do as well as they did when I grew them as a teenager. Finding a roadside vendor who has fresh fruit and vegetables is about as close as I get anymore.

I love picking strawberries, we had a strawberry plant, but the birds kept eating the strawberries when they would get ripe. I only got have one or two strawberries this year. darn birds haha. I love strawberries, they are my favorite. You can have your own strawberry plant, I bought mine at walmart.

I have a patch of land in my country side garden that I plant strawberries on. So I get to pick strawberries (and take care of them) every year.

I use to pick strawberries when I was a kid. I miss those days. We have a few wild strawberries around the house but its not enough to worry about. One of my favorite fruits is strawberries.

there is a certain province here in our country where starberries are grown and since i have lived in that place for nearly 8 years i have experienced picking strawberries. it was indeed fun & since i left that place already i must say like you i also missed doing it. there are time that i would just eat the strawberry after picking it. lol. it might be yuck or unsanitary to others but that's the fun i get picking 'em. it was strawberries grown in shrubs so i haven't seen a strawberry that grow in vines & runners nor am i aware about orange strawberrie. thanks for that info! is there a way you could show a picture of those?
