How long can you stay in a shopping mall? The most i can is 6 hours, or else i will find nothing new, and quite boring too.

I usualy do not spend more than a few hours shopping, there just aren't that many stores that I like to shop at so once I have visited the stores I like I am ready to go home.

Well that depends... is this a challenge? Because if some group was paying people to stay in the mall and see how long they could live there, I could live there for a long time. And I don't even like shopping. But I could easily tolerate a week there if it was a paid challenge. Typically though, I like to be done with all my shopping in less than 3 hours. Yesterday I was at the mall for about 3 hours and I was about driven crazy by all the sales and stuff.

I can spend at least 5 hours in a mall, especially if I need to find something specific. I love to go shopping on a rainy weekend, this way I can stay in mall even longer, go to the movies, to the restaurant or cafe. I think it is a good way of spending free time.

I never have really liked shopping alot - never had the money to actually "go shopping". I had what I had and had to get specific things so "shopping" was not an option. Ieven would go with no money just to "look" telling my self to stay witht he program and just "shop" with the girls and all... that took a dump after so many times "shopping" with no money and just 'looking" - I'd always find something on sale that I have been waiting for or have really wanted and couldn't afford or just needed but didn't have the regular price, now on sale I could afford it...but didn't have the money. So I stopped. Now, I do walka new outside mall (they were all "outside" in the 70;s nad then they went to indoor and now are back to outside!) and just for the exercise of moving around and such, and see the sales. but for us older ladies - they just dont' seem to make many clothes that are on sale - if you aren't a slim trim "medium", 34B, it is hard to find things that fit. So it is still a boring, "do I have to?" kind of thing to do for me

I really love shopping so much even in magazines, online, everywhere.I just love it,i dont know why. When we were in a vacation i enjoy whole day shopping and it makes me really happy and tired when i go home.I think i am materialistic since i am a kid but i really love shopping,i hope i can minimize it because sometimes my budget was destroy because of that shopping habits.

I rarely to a indoor mall any longer. Most times I go to the store I want to visit. Some stand alone and others are part of a big outdoor mall. There are a few stores that are specialty that I have to go to the indoor mall but just maybe a couple times a year. In fact we used to have to go to Sporting goods in the indoor mall but they have just built one closer to us and is a outdoors and part of a larger shopping area.

About once a month me and a couple of my friends go shopping at a mall. We usually pick different malls so we dont get tired of the same places. A lot of the malls around here have there own movie theaters and food courts so its not to hard to spend a day window shopping, catch a movie, grab a bite to eat and maybe actually buying something. Its more about spending time with friends then actually buying anything and I enjoy it. I guess when we go we spend about 7 or 8 hours there. Cheers, Tianna

i guess it depends upon the mall. if the mall is really huge, you could spend the whole day at the mall. even if you don't shop, you could window-shop for hours on end. and if you could catch a movie, then lunch or dinner, then that'd make for 3-4 hours and maybe shopping for another 2-3 hours. but depends, you have got to have the time and state of mind to just roam around in the mall and not get bored... happy myHappy

Four hours is enough for me to spend in a mall in a day. That includes eating lunch or snacks and sometimes watching movies. When I go to the mall, I only go to the stores where I will really buy something. I used to window-shop but recently, I had the habit of just go there and buy and do not waste too much time. Yeah, it feels boring too sometimes, especially if you go to the same mall every time.
