Would you prefer rock or soft music? why?

I listen pretty much everything, but my favourite is rock. It always was. But it does depend on a mood, sometimes I prefere something soft on the ears and sometimes something energizing to get my blood running lol

Personally I love rock. I love the way it makes me feel, the way it sounds and the emotion it can convey. At the same time, I also appreciate soft music, as long as it's creative and I can take something from it. I agree that any task is makde easier if you're listening to some good music.

I suppose it depends on the mood you're in.I come from a musical family and I know and appreciate all sorts of music.I was a child when Rock 'n Roll arrived on the music scene,hence I was hooked on that kind of music.Even though this was the case I knew and loved other music pre-Rock 'n Roll. Later I was influenced by a different type of sound.As far as music is concerned I am eclectic and there is little in the way of music that I could say I dont like.

What I listen to depends on my mood..Some days I want to listen to nothing but Jazz or R&B, other days I like old punk or goth music and other days still I enjoy listening to soft rock or ballads or maybe top 40 type tunes and so on....I love a wide variety of genres when it comes to music so there is no "one" prefered for me..

It really depend on my mood but I usually listen to rock music. Yeah for some people they find rock music irritating to the ears. My sister don't like rock music so I have to used earphones when listening to it. It helps me to relax and live my everyday life. I just love rock music and don't have any reason why not to love it.

I like both music, actually I'll listen to both of them depends on my mood. If I feel gloomy and kinda bored, I'll listen to more upbeat and a bit loud rock, and if I'm feeling like I want to hear some soft music especially if I'm reading or doing some tedious stuff, I'll listen to soft music. However, I think I prefer more to listen to soft music, as it is more pleasant and gentle in the ear.

It depends on my mood. I listen to rock when I am angry, happy, or just in the hardcore mood. As for soft music, I listen to that when I am sad, depressed, or in a light mood. Again, music is all about my mood.

Hello mylottians thank you for posting your comments. I hear both of them. Actually it deoends on the mood which i am. Normally go for rock when in party , in friends home etc.. I hear soft music when i am with my girl friend and while going to bed . Thank you have a nice time keep mylotting.

It really depends on the mood. Rock or something upbeat when I am trying to get chores done. Soft for when I want to relax. Or cuddle with hubby. Music is universal. I enjoy all types. Brings out the best in all feelings, I think.

hi mayrah! I like music too and i like to listen to all types of music depending on the situation i'm into. I prefer soft music over rock though. like you, i get irritated sometimes with the loud noise of rock.

For me I prefer soft music - any soft soothing music. When I'm hard at work, I find having soft soothing music in the background helps me to relax. It helps sooths my mind and body as well - helps to make me more comfortable, at ease to do my work. Without music, I find my mind tense to wander and get distract with every little noise that I can hear.

It depends.When I am depressed,I would choose rock music.It would make me excited and feel safe.When I am calm or quite happy,I prefer soft music,for it I would be more relaxed...

I link soft music because it is always keeps as calm and it will be a treat to our earn if the song is goo. moreover the word are clearly pronounced in the soft music rather than the rock. But all it depends upon the situation. Mostly soft music is the preferred one compared to rock

ROCK!! haha. well I like rock songs but only those like Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. When I am really in the good mood to listen to music. It makes me bang my head and tap my hands while feeling the music. I also like acoustic songs. It clears my mind and make a peaceful atmosphere in my room. But I dont listen to it more often compared to rock songs.

I like soft music. I even can play classical. But I Love to listen to rock music.when I am upset, I prefer hard rock to anything else. There are times when I prefer to listen to soft rock but most of the time it is rock and roll.

My favorite type of music is rock music.But a few types of rock music which is pleasant to listen to the ears.I don't love hard rock music.I love listening to soft music sometimes.Its very soothing and relaxing.

I like soft music. But I also like all kinds. It all just depends on my mood at the moment. :) But I definitely prefer soft music most of the time! :)

I prefer both of them, depending on my mood and what genre suits my current emotion. Every music has its own purpose. They are both good. Nothing is superior than the other. They are at par.
