If i wrote a book about yesterday i would call it...
Diaries Of A Mother And Life With Her Teenage Daughter...
LOL.. I was always told from my mother.. Just wait till you have kids of your own!!
Now i understand the concept.
Wow i just dont ever remember acting the way she sometimes does.
But maybe it's just me... But to the ones living with or has survived living with their teenage daughters... "WE FREAKIN ROCK"
I love my daughter and she teaches me everyday. And i wouldnt be who i am without her. So if you wrote a book what would you call it? And im rating those comments so please share with all of us your thoughts on this.

If I wrote a book about yesterday, I'd call it The Perils of Pauline's Daughter. LOL
My mother's name was Pauline. I don't know if you're familiar with The Perils of Pauline, but she was always getting into some kind of trouble, usually not her fault. That was ME.
I actually thought of writing that book decades ago but never quite found the time. Maybe I'll start working on it in the near future. Writing is FUN!
Oh, and congratulations for surviving having a teenaged daughter! I went through... well, heck, with my two sons when they were teenagers and I know that girls are MUCH worse! So, I commend you! Kudos!!!

Oh, I got that "Wait until you have kids of your own!" and "I hope you have a child EXACTLY like you are!"
Her wish came true! LOL My second son was such a trip! He still is. LOL I adore him but he can drive me insane sometimes!
Ah, the mother's curse... it works!

Cleaning up a 1950's mess !
I have been making repair work to this house and have been finding up that it has decor hidden from there everywhere .
In the attic
under the floors
the capets
the drapes .
I ripped carpet up my steps and there is this checker tile floor in ugly greens !

I'd call it 'Hello, did you hang up on me again?' or 'are you 17 or SEVEN?'
All joking aside (I have a 19 year old daughter and a 17 year old son) it's an adventure in living. I don't have a lot of my own experience to draw on when there are bumps in the road with either of them, my husband and I were very internally motivated to be independent and deal with situations on our own at relatively young ages. The kids? ha ha ha ha. My mom would always mention that perhaps we'd all be paid back for the challenges we foisted on HER. Man oh man, I got it back in spades! Survived is right, just recently my daughter (who moved out of state) was constantly bothering me to go get some of her stuff back from an estranged friend she was 'no longer speaking with'. I got fed up, which is why I finally did it. Some of the stuff was valuable and had been gifts from us, so hubby and I were more interested in recovering those items if possible on principle. I never could have nor would have asked my parents to do such a thing when I was 19. They would have laughed me right off the planet lol.
I am convinced that kids start believing they are 10 years older than they actually are.. oh around the time they turn 9. by the time they are 15, they are actually 35 and know SO MUCH MORE than we do! The funny part is that when they actually ARE 35, they suddenly realize mom knew more than they thought she did.

Hi ginnyoetree,
If I wrote a book about yester what would I call it? I would call it the company i keep, as I am always alone and on my own with just my own company, I am so used to it that I love it now, just so peaceful just myself and my thoughts and when anybody do come to visit I am wishing that they would go soon so I can be on my own Mylotting.
