do you believe that sweeping the floor when someone is dying is bad?

when my mom died my relatives has a lot of belief and one of which is sweeping the floor , in my assessment theres nothing bad coz ur just cleaning ur surroundings since theres many people who comes to visit and give their last respect . what can u say?

Definitely no, that is superstiteous belief. But if your family background or your oldest are all in provinces which they beleive that, I think no problem to respect their beliefs but in your conscience is clear about your belief. So to avoid any discussion with your familty respect them accordingly. See you around...

I have never heard that one before, I guess there are many different beliefs some just handed down thoughts some cultural some may even be religious, I have heard the one of covering any mirrors, why i don't know but some do that..
