to me,ranking the top 2 are yahoo and msn.as a international foreign trade worker.i often communicate with other people by yahoo.it's used worldwide.at the same time, when i have a chat or discuss with my customer ,msn is fairly useful.they have their own advantages.so it's really hard to announce which one is my favorite.as they have different functions, that depends.and you ,buddies?what's your take on that, join us and share your view.

I'm using gmail of course. My yahoo inbox has too many junkmail, even if the storage limit is large but still going through all those junk mail can make my eyes hurt. Im also using www.safe-mail.net forPOP access, their service is free and quite secure anyway.

I don't think you need to look for another mail. I use Yahoo too, and also use (and used) some others, but I stick to the Yahoo. I used Lycos, and hotmail (I still have it because of the MSN Live Messenger, but that's the only reason actually), and I used Gmail for a short time. But Yahoo is my favorite. I mean, what to look for from a free mail service? All of the mail accounts I used were good, but weren't any better than Yahoo. The only thing I don't like with Yahoo mail is the fact that mostly doesn't display some Unicode characters right. I am from Croatia and we use some different character than in English Alphabet. I didn't check about other mail providers but Yahoo mostly doesn't display them right.
Even I don't use Yahoo messenger, I'd not change it if I were you.
Enough mailbox space, I mostly don't even notice commercials, Spam protection is OK (nothing special), New Yahoo mail has a fresh modern look, (use it for some time and then switch to classic yahoo mail... You'll see the difference)... And a lot of information at hand... What else to ask for?

I was going to say "Yahoo" too, before I even read your answer. I have always liked Yahoo and I have tried many other e-mail accounts, including Cox and Comcast, MSN, AOL and many other ones too over the years. I just like their set-up much better and, like you, I have never had any problem with them. I just always seem to go back to them even if I open up an account with another place. I guess it is best to stick with what works best. I do however like Yahoo's old e-mail set-up better than the new Yahoo so I just continue to use it. How about you?

Hello
I suppose my favorite type of email would have to be aol mail . The reason is because that is the first I ever used since I was a kid . I like the fronts and the add in they have and it is easy for me to sign on and check mail and do what i have to do . Anyway , most of the people from back in the day know me from there LOL. I do have yahoo as well and that is cool too .

Hi
I have two email accounts. One with gmail and other one with yahoo. The advantage with gmail is that it's easy to set up and faster.
Yahoo is also good, navigation is simole and you have rightly mentioned that if you are in yahoo messenger you can know if a mail arrives. No such facility is there in gmail. This one is also good.
i use gmail for private correspondence and yahoo for business.
Happy mylotting.

I like gmail most. the prime reasons being i find it more user friendly and quick service. I am used to it and may be thats why i like it. we have gtalk in the main page of gmail and its easy to connect to people and be online at the same time when you checking your mails.

I'm no expert on the internet but I think that even if Yahoo isn't the best, it's close to the top. I also started with Yahooo and I'm still with Yahoo. I have no intention of changing, neither should you change. It's just a suugestion, as long as the mail server can send, receive and store mail efficiently, then it's good enough for me:-)

I have always used yahoo and I am so pleased with this free email service. I have never had any trouble with it and so I will remain with it forever I think. I don't like using the email facility of my Internet Service Provider. I find that this tends to slow my computer down. By using a free email service like Yahoo, you can store all your emails on their servers, great idea. Andrew

I have two email addresses but i don't use the other one much since I always use my yahoo email. I think alot of people are using yahoo mails since it is easy to user-friendly and convenient. It also offers other services such as messenger, groups, and many more. Also, most of my friends and relatives use yahoo mail. I've been using this email address since college.
The other email account that I have has upgraded their system making it more complicated to use that's why I would really stick to my yahoo mail.

I have a Yahoo! mail and Gmail. I have been using Yahoo! mail for a long time already and I am quite used to it. Also, it can be accessed everywhere, even in my mobile phone. It is also easy to use. I had my Gmail account a couple of years back. It is also user-friendly. What's good about Gmail is that the emails seem to be organized. I use my Gmail account for registration here in myLot and I found out that it is a good decision because I was able to check and track my emails easily there from myLot.
