I thought you are referring to humans. I was so shocked. It was just seahorses. I really do not know this trivia. I know roosters do lay eggs. I have seen that many many time times because we have lots of roosters in our house.

Thanks for brushing up my memory.I had studied this in school,but had forgotten all about it.But now this information appears to hold more significance....Just imagine what would have happened in this world,if this was the case with humans also.....
