do you drink enough water?

we have been often told that we must drink at least eight glasses of water a day. we need water in order to eliminate the toxins in our body, to prevent and cure disease, for our skin health...the benefits are endless!
but do we really heed this advice? are you able to drink enough water per day?

I always try to do that. I always make it a point to drink at least three to four glasses in the morning. Sometimes I tend to drink less in the afternoon, as when my daughter naps, I'm either online or napping with her, so I drink less then. I usually try to catch up in the evening and at night. I would feel the thirst already by then. Although I don;t count the number of glasses I drink every day, but I always try to drink enough.

In the tropical heat where we live in, we need extra water. I often fall ill if I don't drink enough water. BTW, thank you for the BR, rainegurl!

That is good. Even if you forget or you are too busy in the afternoon, at least you already have four glasses in the morning. That's more than some people drink in a day.

it is indeed a must to drink 8 glasses and more water in a day to replenish the fluids that our body loses from time to time for water also helps in cleaning our system.
but i am guilty of this. i drink less than 4 glasses of water and more of carbonated and iced tea drinks and since that i am engaged in a medical profession i know all about it but still i don't do what i know is a must.

at least we are aware that we need that much water, right? LOL! that's a good thing already. i am also guilty of drinking too much carbonated drinks. i like diet coke. i stay away from iced tea, though, because it causes my hyperacidity to rear its ugly head.

Sometimes I manage to measure the amount of fluid I drink and that includes water, juices, sodas, coffee, chocolate drink and milk. But sometimes depending on the work load in a day, I don't even had enough fluid intake. Sometimes I drink too much that I cant remember to measure . But I make sure that I drink enough fluid especially water in a day so that I can prevent having an illness to onset.

Hi there!!! How are you doing rainegurl. I think can able to drink enough water per day. I like to drink water a lot, I often felt thirsty. Aside from the eigth glasses of water or more I think I consume, I also have juices, tea and coffee. Yes I drink a lot. I easily get prespired, I guess it is good because the toxins in our body come out thru our skin, I hope so........ Happy day to you.

Yes, I drink at least 8 glasses of water or more because its very healthy to us. Water is known to cleanse whatever toxics we have in our body. Before, I made coke as water already but I followed my doctor's advice to minimize my SODA intake. ^^,

I must admit that I don't drink enough water and never have. I never noticed a difference until I had a heart attack. Once that happened I started to notice my bodies reaction to not having enough water.
The energy level and endurance seems to drop when I cut back on the water intake.
I have a good wife though and see constantly reminds me to drink enough water. :)

I have a hard time drinking that much plain water in a day most of the time. During the summer, that's a different story. But other times of the year, I don't drink nearly enough water. I have a high fluid intake, but it's usually more in the form of diet pop or crystal light mixes for my bottled water.

I actually think I drink plenty of water. I always have a water bottle on me most of the time. And its not because I'm paranoid of not drinking enough water or anything. Its simply because I get thirsty a lot and I enjoy drinking it. So I guess its a plus that I like to drink it.

it's good that you have a water bottle. i am thinking of buying one for myself so that i can drink anytime i want. sometimes i forget to drink water when i am in the office because the water dispenser is in another room.

I normally drink 8-9 glasses of water a day.
You are absolutely right, water is so essential for our bodies. Less water consumption leads to toxin accumulation in our bodies.
Sufficient water consumption is good to reduce stress and kidney stone among others.
So, I never fail to drink water whenever i get a chance.
But too much excessive water drinking is also not good. So, I just don't keep on drinking water endlessly, but I do drink rationally.

To keep ones body healthy and remain free from various kinds of diseases everybody should drink minimum 8 glass of water everyday.according to this rule i drink on the average 15 to 20 glasses of water everyday.I was not accustomed to drink such many glass of water everyday efore i went to a doctor.One day i was suffering from a serious diseases .I went to a doctor and the doctor advice me to drink minimum eight glass of water everyday.since then i used to drink a plenty of water.

way to go, rbhuiyan! 15 to 20 glasses is good.
i really believe in the benefits of water. in fact, when i feel a cold or a cough coming up, i put a pitcher of water next to me and make sure that i refilled it at twice in one day. fortunately, my water therapy always work. the longest a cold lasts with me is one day.
